My Experience with Lakme Apricot Ace 9 to 5 Crease-less Lipstick:

The lipstick comes in a luxurious rose gold packaging. The cap shuts with a click. The name of the shade is written at the base of lipstick tube. So, you have to check the base of the tube for shade detection.

Apricot Ace is a true brown shade from 9 to 5 Crease-less Lipstick collection. It is not too dark and can be worn at work. I do not use browns often. This is the first brown that I have picked up. This shade will suit all skin tones.

It is full of silver shimmer particles. The silver shimmer particles impart a silvery, brownish color to the lips. I personally did not like the over powering silver shimmer in it.

The lipstick has the same mild vanilla fragrance, which all Lakme lipsticks have. The fragrance fades away in 20-25 minutes. The texture of the lipstick is soft, creamy and smooth. It glides on the lips effortlessly leaving a crease-less look. I did not find any patchiness and it did not bleed at all. My lips felt very hydrated and nourished. It does moisturize the lips well. But after about half an hour of application, it gives a semi matte look.

The pigmentation is fabulous. But for complete opaque look, one must follow multiple swipes. The staying power is 3-4 hours without meals. But if followed with meals, reapplication is needed. Overall, this brown shade is good but I completely dislike the shimmer in it. The shimmer gives a tacky look after some time.
