After realizing that I had too many pink-y n*de lip colors in my stash, I started hunting for a good peachy brown n*de shade :P. It was then I came across this beautiful product/shade which is the Lakme Aqua Shine 3 in 1 Lip color in Chestnut.

My take on Lakme Aqua Shine 3 in 1 Lip color in Chestnut:
Packaging:
The packaging is just perfect and chic, nothing too bling. The name of the shade is mentioned at the bottom of the pen and also there exists a color coded band which matches with the shade of the product, which i think is very easy to grab on the go if you have more than one shade from this range.The pen type packaging is very much travel friendly and easy to apply on the go.
Application:
When the lower part of the pen is twisted, the product comes out through the nib. The twister works perfectly fine to control the amount of product wanted for each usage.
The applicator/nib is not scratchy at all and it helps to even out the product onto the lips with ease.
Overall, the packaging and application is very much effective and definitely travel friendly.
Shade:
When swatched on hand, it comes out as a soft brown shade without any shimmers. But when applied on lips it comes out as a beautiful peachy brown shade which can be carried very easily for any occasion or can be paired with any eyemakeup, be it heavy smoke-y eyes or a soft eye do.
The product provides good color payoff and also it moisturizes my lips for good 2 hours, after which the color starts fading but the moisturizing properties still continue to work for more 2 hours. All this, without a heavy meal or munching in between. It definitely doesn’t withstand a heavy meal and it does transfer. The product does not feather or bleed or leave an uneven stain on lips.The product does not have any particular fragrance which is definitely a plus.
The best property of this product is the glossy finish which it provides, which immediately makes my lips look fuller and healthier. Sitting in AC for hours together, takes a huge toll on my lips and leaves it lifeless and totally chapped. Under such conditions, I have always relied on this product for the amazing shade and also for its healthier finish. Once applied, it doesn’t settle into fine lines or make my already chapped lips look awkward.And thus I have been reaching for this lippie almost every day for work.
This shade Chestnut, would suit beauties with all skin tones, but it would not suit for highly pigmented lips.

• Amazing shade which would suit all skin tones.
• Provides good color payoff, moisturising and glossy finish for good 4 hours, without a meal inbetween.

• Does not feel greasy or messy on application.
• Feels light on lips.
• Does not feather or bleed on application.
• Does not settle into fine lines and does not make chapped lips look obvious.
• Conditions lips and provides a healthy finish.
• Contains no shimmers.
• Availability.
Cons of Lakme Aqua Shine 3 in 1 Lip color in Chestnut
• Does not survive a heavy meal.
• Transfers easily but not completely, unless wiped off deliberately.
• Does not cover pigmented lips.
• Packaging is opaque and leaves me completely clueless about the amount of product remaining.
