Lakme Blushing Pink Enrich Lip Crayon Review

Hi beauties,

Lakme has launched a new range of lip products in 10 different shades and the range is called “Lakme Enrich Lip Crayon.” I saw the photos and swatches in Rati’s post and I knew I wanted to pick them up. I picked two shades from the entire range – Baby Pink and Blushing Pink. In this post, I will be reviewing “Blushing Pink.” Read on for more details:

My Experience with Lakme Blushing Pink Enrich Lip Crayon:

Lakme Enrich Lip Crayon comes in a crayon-like packaging, just a bit fatter than the usual crayons we used as a kid. I have mixed feelings about these lip crayons – I liked the packaging but the waxy texture is something I do not like. I understand the price range, but then Elle 18 provides better lip products at a lower price.

Lakme Blushing Pink Enrich Lip Crayon sharpener

The texture of this Lakme lip crayon is somewhere between creamy and waxy. I generally swipe this on the lips for 3-4 times and even out the colour with my fingers, I like the tint that way.

It has medium pigmentation and needs multiple swipes to cover pigmented lips. “Blushing Pink” is a rusty peachy pink kind of a shade with minute shimmery particles which adds shine to the lips. The shimmers are not chunky and don’t spread on the whole face. I do not like shimmer or glitter in my lip products.

These lip crayons are semi matte on the lips, neither drying nor hydrating. I generally apply a thin layer of lip balm before using any lipstick. This lipstick stays for 3-4 hours with a tea or coffee in between, but it won’t survive a meal.

I will probably mix it with my existing lipsticks to play with colours. I think one cannot ignore this range. I am really happy that Lakme has come up with a range of lip crayon at just INR 185. You wouldn’t feel guilty after buying them, but I think they could have done a bit more with the texture and the shimmer.
