  1. I tried these – the eye magic thingies – this weekend. After reading all your blogs, now I am so curious about anything new I see on the counter and for a change the SA was really sweet. I loved the Gold but didn’t pick it up..and now I just know I should have πŸ™ Found a similar thing in Avon too, so maybe will just try that instead.

As for the Bourjois blushes..I read somewhere they tend to harden over time or they are already pretty hard or something..

    1. The blushes are baked ones so the top layer tends to get hard over the time. Just swipe the *hard* brush that come along with it once in a month over the top and your blushes would be as new as ever. They very beautiful. Try picking up atleast one of them.

The only reason i didn’t pick up Lakme eye magic was that i have similar stuff with me. Otherwise they are very very pretty. My only concern is creasing. Although I don’t think they should because after blending they set beautifully on my hand. But I think thee would be a good pick. πŸ™‚

  2. Have you ever thought how hard it must be for me not to pick up just every bloody thing available in the market. πŸ˜€ These companies are making better and better products and I just want everything. πŸ™ But how much would I use is the only question I ask every time. I don’t have a khaki shade in my collection. Errrr… now I am also looking at the swatches. 😯

    1. Oh..that is easy..the eyemagic..which I have now edited out of the list – cost-cutting πŸ˜› Am down to 2 – black and khakhi…hopefully my computer and internet will go on a vacation somewhere – and I won’t see anymore of the sinful pics on your site. And no, seriously, I have no idea how you don’t pick just about everything!

      This internet..bahuuut bad thing!!

  3. hi rati, the Lakme eye magic seems very tempting…..spe d gold one.
btw whick 1 do u think is better d eye pot or the eye magic???

Planning to pink up 1 v soon… kindly suggest :-))

    1. errr.. both are different. Eye magic is more of shimmery eye shadow. Eye pot is a creamy base shadow. You swatch both and you’ll see the difference. Both are pretty. πŸ™‚

  4. Love max factor cream blushes , I have sample saze of soft pink which is kind of coral pink, gorgeous , soft texture and spreads like a dream .I’m gonna get full size when some1 goes or comes frm Uk

  5. Yeah, they blended in very beautifully. And the shades are pretty. πŸ™‚
I want to see when you get the full sazes. Okay. πŸ˜›

  6. The bourjois pencils are just too good i wanted to buy a nice kajal so this one is a must buy for me.. and this is the best black i’ve come across..!!! And the price is so good that im tempted to buy khaki as well..!!!

  7. he he, khaki is sooo pretty. Yes you would be able to wear it on your waterline and it claims 16 hr stay. I thought these would smudge a bit coz they are kohls but mostly I liked them a lot. And a little bit of smudging can be handled.:)

  8. Wow, all this stuff looks so pretty! I am liking the Bourjois Khaki pencil a lot.. & the maxfactor cream blushes!! They are so pretty.. Now i am so conflicted! I want them all!

  9. My heart beats for the Bourjois blushes! The Khol pencils are so reasonably priced! Rati, does Bourjois sell the 10 hour sleep effect foundation in India? I have yet to come across it.

  10. Great Post Rati..
my 240 bucks is saved coz i got Bourjois Khol and Contour Pencils – black free last to last week on purchase of concealer πŸ˜€ .. yepi.. but i m planning to blow that money on khakhi color.. its tempting me..i have used black one and its amazing..
and you said you have 8-10 blushes..!!! oh my god.. is it.. m also planning to buy 2-3 blushes, but before that i want to know that will it go on my oily skin..???
waiting for ur ans then only i will prepare my shoppin list.. one more fatka on my pocket..
bas ho gaya I am closing my eyes now..

    1. Buy Powder Blushes. πŸ™‚ I love blushes from Colorbar, MAC , Inglot and Bourjois. πŸ™‚ NYX also if you can get it where you live.

Sonal and Priyanka gave some rave reviews about the Maybelline Blushes as well. πŸ™‚

      See: https://makeupandbeauty.com/category/cheeks/

Blushes are the easiest to buy. They are more of shade selection. If you are fair , go for rosy pinks, wheatish- look for peachy pinks, peaches etc.

  11. Oh everything looks so tempting. I am coming to Delhi next week, I have to help Di buy cosmetics, shoes etc for her wedding. Can you suggest me a place where I’d find, colorbar, maybelline, revlon products and some accesories like makeup brush, false eyelash etc?

  12. Urmi,

Go to select City walk. They are three malls in one place- MGF Metropolitan, Select City Walk and DLF.

At MGF you have shopper’s stop where you’ll find most of your Lakme, Revlon, Maybelline, Loreal. Even Clarins, YSL, Shiseido, etc.

At Select City walk you have stand alone stores of Colorbar, Estee Lauder, MAC, Inglot, Lancome, The Body Shop, Clinique, Lush etc.

If you want to pick up Bourjois and Max Factor, you would have to come to Gk- 1 M Block Market. Ask for Kunchals and you’ll get these two there. πŸ™‚

Hope that helps and Welcome to Delhi. πŸ™‚

  13. Hey,
    Love the new products.
I’m currently in the market for some non smudging kohl which gives an intense black line.
Most of the hindi film actresses sem to be wearing one.
Please give me some suggestions guys.
    Really, really need the help

    1. I can swear by Revlon Colorstay Eye pencil. It does not smudge on my eyes AT ALL. That too in humid weather of Kolkata. My mom has watery eyes and it works for her too!

  14. Aastha,

Kohls smudge. Some smudge more and some less. The hindi films actresses get loads of touch ups before they step in public. We can’t afford such a huge luxury. Can we? But you can always set your kohls with eaither a dark brown or black eyeshdow. Just apply the eyeshadow on your lash line after you have applied your kajal. You can use an ear bud to apply eyeshadow or a very thin brush.

  15. Oh heck, Rati, I have over 35 to 40 blushes (am I mad?), I have now started giving away make up, but I still go out and buy anything new. !!!!!

    1. Been collecting blushes for quite some time now. Consists of Body Shop, Bourjois, MAC, L’oreal, Maybelline, Lakme, ColorBar, Faces, Chambor, Pupa, etc. etc.!!!!!! Will take them all out & try & do a review soon.

  16. A mere look at the blushes (Maxfactor) is enough to tell that they are worth every penny………….they would look so lovely on cheeks……

    1. Thank you!!! Will try n pick it up soon but sadly its out of stock at the beauty store and Shopper’s Stop and Lifestyle dont have colorbar counters
