As promised here is the review on the shade Burgundy Affair from the matte range of Lakme Studio Sculpt line. Read on to know how it fared for me.

My Experience with Lakme Burgundy Affair Absolute Sculpt Studio Hi Definition Matte Lipstick:-
A lot has already been said about the packaging, I would not bore you repeating the same; my two cents regarding the packaging would be, a color coded sticker at the vase and matte body would have made this oh-so-perfect. Here you have to remember the shade name and the finish if you have more than one in this range. Not a huge con but why not look at the possibilities of betterment.
The texture is a complete LOVE. As much as I liked the velvet matte range of Faces, I am liking these as well. Almost all the shades from this range are summer appropriate and kudos to Lakme for that. This is moisture matte as per my opinion and hence very comfortable on the lips. Also it does not feel heavy or sticky on the lips. The lightweight formula would be like wear and forget.
The pigmentation is buildable, one swipe is good for regular wear, but if you want a longer stay multiple swipes are required. These do not move from the lips and hence lip liner is totally optional. I love how smoothly it glides on the lips and gives a velvet matte finish to the lips.
The particular shade is a gorgeous shade of red with brownish undertones. Ideal shade to pair with ethnic wear. It is slightly mature shade and not suitable for people who want to sport a cool funky look. In a way it is a safe red to begin with. It is towards the warmer side of the red family I would say.
The slight glitch with the shade is that you have to be very cautious with the application, since it is super pigmented. The staying power ranges from 5-6 hours depending on the food/drink intake. With a liner the stay improves up to 7 hours; but I avoid the liner as I enjoy the lightweight texture.
