Today’s review will be on cleansing milk by Lakme. Let’s see how this one fared for me!

My Experience with the Lakme Deep Cleanser Cleansing Milk:
This cleansing milk comes in an ivory coloured plastic bottle. It has a flip cap which dispenses the product. You have to squeeze the bottle to dispense the product. A pump applicator would have worked perfectly here. The back of the bottle has all the details about the product. The bottle is pretty small and travel-friendly.
The actual product can be very easily mistaken for a lotion. The cleanser is white in colour and has a sort of a runny texture. It is a moisturising cleanser bit is not too oily. It doesn’t strip your skin off the oils after it takes off the makeup.It takes off the makeup, dirt and grime from the skin and makes your skin feel clean.
It removes waterproof and pigmented makeup nicely. It takes 7-8 swipes to remove the makeup that leaves stains. But the rest of the makeup is gone in 3-4 swipes. It doesn’t sting or burn the skin which is a good thing.
I use a cotton pad and put some of this cleanser and gently remove the makeup. It is easy and it doesn’t spread my mascara or liner all over my face. I do follow it up by washing my face with my face wash just to be sure that all traces of makeup have gone.
My only concern is that it is a very strong perfume-like fragrance, which also means it has a lot of chemicals. So I am iffy about using this on my face to remove makeup on a daily basis. For spot cleansing or removing swatches, I think this is the best one, but for removing face makeup, I’m not too sure. The scent lingers on for a long time and I don’t like that! I avoid using this on my face due to the same reason. I just use it to remove lipstick swatches and hand swatches.

Cons of the Lakme Deep Cleanser Cleansing Milk:
1. The fragrance is very strong and I don’t like such a strong fragrance in my makeup cleansers.
2. You tend to use this one up quickly
3. A bit expensive
4. The fragrance lingers as it is very strong
IMBB Rating: 3/5. Would have been 4, but the fragrance doesn’t allow me to use it on my face.
Will I Recommend/Repurchase the Lakme Deep Cleanser Cleansing Milk:
Yes, it is a nice product but if you have sensitive skin, do not use it.
