Lakme Enrich Lip Crayon 08 Baby Pink Review

Skin Tone: Medium Olive

Hello, beauties!

Lakme India recently launched their super cute Enrich Lip Crayons with some beautiful shades. I picked up eight shades from this range, and today I am going share my views about the shade Baby Pink. Let’s get into the review.

Price: INR 185 for 2.2g
Product Description:
Embrace the all new formulated lip colour crayon by Lakmé and use your lips like a canvas to create a vibrant look.
Get smooth and matte finish lips with this lip colour crayon by Lakmé that is infused with mineral powders. It has a soft texture and is available in 10 gorgeous shades that suit all Indian skin tones. It also has a rich blend of olive and jojoba oil that simultaneously conditions your lips. For your convenience, the all new Lakmé Enrich Lip Crayon comes with a sharpener.

How to Use:
Step 1: Open the cap and start applying the product from the centre of your upper lip.
Step 2: Worked from the centre towards the outer edges of your lip, following the contours of your mouth.
Step 3: Glide the product across the entire bottom lip.
Step 4: This step is optional but you could use a tissue to blot out the extra product.

My Experience with Lakme Enrich Lip Crayon 08 Baby Pink:

Packaging:
Lakme Enrich Lip Crayon looks exactly like a beautiful, pretty crayon with a color-coded paper on the body. It also has a nice black cap, which is not secure enough to carry. It does not feel tight and can easily open on its own. But these crayons are priced at only rupees 185, so everything is fine at this super cheap rate.

Each crayon comes with a dual sharpener which works smoothly and I can use the smaller one for other products as well. Though this pencil needs to be sharpened there is less wastage during the process. I feel it is a great buy for this price.

Shade and Pigmentation:
As the name suggests, Baby Pink is a very pretty warm baby pink shade. It looks super cute on the lips and doesn’t wash out my skin tone. But it might look a little too light on deeper skin tones. It contains some silver shimmer particles, which I am not a fan of, but they never look overpowering on the lips.

Baby Pink is a nice MLBB pink for daily use and can go with any makeup look. Now, this range offers medium pigmentation. I can build up the shade to get that nice color pay off on the lips, though. It can hide lip pigmentation as well .

Texture and Quality:
This crayon has a soft smooth texture that glides easily on the lips but it feels slightly waxy as well. Yet it doesn’t feel uncomfortable on the lips. It feels light and never looks patchy. I can easily layer it up and it won’t feel cakey or heavy.

This crayon has a beautiful, non-drying, creamy-matte finish, which I really like. It settles into a smooth, even texture, which keeps my lips soft for long. This formula provides a good amount of hydration to the lips and never makes lips dry. People with dry lips can also use this lipstick as it never highlights dry patches.

Since this is not a completely matte range, it does transfer, but the color still stays on the lips nicely and doesn’t create any mess around the lips. It is quite easy to draw a perfect lip line with this crayon due to its pointed tip. Also, it doesn’t have any noticeable smell to it.

Staying Power:
I wasn’t expecting this crayon to last this long on my lips. It easily lasts around 4 hours with a normal meal. It can’t survive a meal properly and starts to fade evenly from the lips. But a reapplication can solve this problem. This shade has shimmers which become prominent once the color gets removed from the lips. Still, it doesn’t settle into the fine lines and is easy to remove too.

Overall:
I really like this range as all the shades are so beautiful and will work for all skin tones. These crayons might not be great but are good enough for the price you pay.

I won’t repurchase as I already have so many shades from this range but I am totally recommending Baby Pink to fair to medium skin tones.
