I had reviewed a gorgeous shade (RM16) from Lakme’s Enrich Matte lipstick range recently. I am here with another shade “RM 18” in this post which is a nice orangish-red lipstick and another brilliant find to be honest. I never expected that such an affordable matte lipstick would be so pigmented and moist matte. Read on for more details as it could be right for the upcoming festive season.

My Experience with Lakme Enrich Matte Lipstick RM18:
They are absolutely right when they claim it is of creamy matte texture that is comfortable to wear. the lipstick is matte but has a moist formula which keeps lips soft and supple.
The color is intense as Lakme claims. It definitely does not drag. For INR, this is a brilliant lipstick. I am fortunate that I found such a lovely orange-red shade, it is slightly on the brighter side, but looks so peppy for warm Indian skin tones.
The lipstick is smooth but not too buttery, it has the right slip to it and feels moist when you apply. It is not powder matte but looks super matte in two coats. I like to slightly blot the lipstick between two coats. I have noticed that in more than two coats, the lipstick starts accumulating a bit and feels flaky, so blotting in between coats is essential.
The lipstick may also bleed in too many coats. Although the lipstick is very pigmented, you might need to layer it if you want to make it more matte and less moist. In one coat as well, this looks gorgeous.
I have had no staining issues and it lasts 3-4 hours easily. It bleeds only in multiple coats and stays put during meals too. The formula is just right, slightly moist but overall matte. The color palette of this range is amazing. I highly recommend you go and buy yourself some for the upcoming Ganesh festival.

- You might need to blot it in between coats to make it more matte.
Would I Repurchase/Recommend Lakme Enrich Matte Lipstick RM18?
Yes, I would repurchase in many other shades. I do recommend all of you to check this new enrich matte range without any further delay as INR 295 is a perfect price for this lipstick.
