Hi Girls!

Here is a lipstick review for all those shimmer lovers. I saw this lip color in my cousin’s make up kit. She absolutely hates this color and I couldn’t agree with her more! Read on to find out more about this shade.

Product Description:

Deep conditioning lip color enriched with Vitamin E for softer and smoother lips. Contains strawberry, grape seed, and peach extracts to keep lips nourished and soft. Made in India.  Enriched with sunscreens, vitamins and the goodness of olives, your lips will have a story to share.

Price:

Rs. 225 for 4.4 ml.

Pigmentation/Staying Power:

The shade is mauvy brown with golden undertones and obvious shimmers.  It is a shade which is very difficult to pull off. Even some really fair-skinned girls may face problems with it. It made me look dark 🙁  No other lipstick till date has made my face look darker. Have a look at the swatches. I can say nothing about the staying power as I wiped off the lipstick immediately after clicking the picture!

Now, see the obvious shimmers after blending. I personally like opaque and creamy colors, so this is a BIG no for me!

Now, for the LOTDs.  Forgive me, they are horrible this time 🙁

• Affordable, and that is the ONLY good point about it.

Cons of Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick #136:

• Its a very odd shade, God knows what complexion they had on mind when they made this one.
• Too much shimmer!
• Makes the face look darker than it actually is!

Do I Recommend Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick #136?

NEVER!

Will I Repurchase Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick #136?

Only if I lose all my common sense! 😛
