My Experience with Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick P162:
Starting from the packaging of the lipstick, this lipstick comes in a metallic silver-colored cardboard packaging. This cardboard packaging has product details like description, shade name, etc. but it has totally skipped ingredients list. The lipstick tube is a regular silver-coloured twist-up one with a mirror finish and a clear cap.
The shade name is mentioned at the base of the lipstick. The lipstick bullet is of regular shape and aids in easy application of the lipstick.
The shade #P162 is a gorgeous rosy pink shade. This is the prettiest pink lipstick in my collection of Lakmé Enrich Satin lipstick. I really love this shade, it is a perfect daily wear shade. This lipstick is free from shimmers. It will flatter fair to medium skin tones well. The scent is typical of Lakme lipstick; it’s mild and not bothersome.
This lipstick has good pigmentation. It requires two to three swipes for the color to show up fully. It does hide pigmented lips pretty well. This lipstick does not stain the lips and can be removed very easily. Texture wise, Lakme lipsticks are almost buttery. This one in particular is so soft and smooth, and glides on the lips easily. It does not tug or pull on the lips and glides effortlessly. Prior to application, exfoliating lips would be great because this lipstick tends to highlight dry patches of the lips.
Since this lipstick is too creamy, it can lead to the bullet breaking off from the base. I had picked this lipstick up from an e-commerce website, and I received a slightly damaged bullet. The creaminess of the lipstick causes it to bleed a little, so I apply a lip liner underneath to control it from smudging out. The formula is really moisturizing. My lips do not feel dry even after hours of application. The lipstick has good lasting power, it stays on my lips for approximately 5 hours. Though the colour loses its intensity through the wear time, it still looks fine. Its creaminess is lost during the duration of wear and it kind of looks semi matte. This lipstick does not settle into the fine lines of the lips. Overall, this is my favourite shade from the entire Lakme Enrich Satin range.

- Packaging is a little flimsy.
- Highlights dry patches of the lips.
- Bullet tends to break off from the base.
- Bleeds a little.
- Loses its creaminess and color intensity during the wear time.
