After bare beige and very berry, I picked up this plum shade from the gloss addict range. I have to say initially the shimmer shades really put me off but when I checked again, they had some real good shades as well. This one is a pretty pinky plum and really suits my skin tone and brightens face.Anyone who is open to soft plums but is scared of maroons, must try this shade.
These are a dupe for Mac sheen supreme in more ways than one in my opinion. The packaging is quite pretty looking and actually feels heavy instead of feeling plactic-ky. I am impressed with the packaging so to say, and begin with. The twist up mechanism is something different, it clicks when it starts and clicks back when it rolls down.Makes sense? try the testers, I am happy with the packaging, though initially I was not fond of the clear cap but now I like it a lot.
The color on this one is shimmer free, very glossy and semi-opaque,you can easily obtain opacity with two swipes. With one swipe it will work like a tint. The color is very glossy initially when you apply it but later on in say 45 minutes the glossy finish vanishes! This really broke my heart.the finish then looks like you have used a jumbo lip pencil or a lip tint or something. The color lasts for an hour, post with it looks like a light lip stain. Then it is gone.So for such an expensive gloss addict stick, you can expect only two hours of wear post which you will need to reapply.

It really does not bleed, it kind of sets very lightly and is absorbed into the lips in some time, this also looks like you have used a lip lacquer stick, like the Revlon balm ones sometimes.

The color is super pretty, it is a right blend of plum and pink. the color is suitable for most skin tones and it cannot be right for office but evening and night wear is better for this one.I love the color, the glossy finish, love how it smoothens out my lips and makes them fuller, does not settle in lip lines and also is very soft and smooth to use.I really like the three shades I own from this range, I do not think I will try the shimmer shades at all.I do feel this is expensive and lasting power is too little but somehow, this is a very tempting product for me.
