How are you all ? I am back again with a new review on a foundation. I usually like to use light weight foundation for regular use. Our very own ‘Desi’ brand Lakme offers variety of foundations depending on our basic needs, from light coverage to full coverage foundations. After reading few reviews on Lakme Invisible Finish Foundation, I decide to give it a try. I have been using this for nearly 10 months. Today I will share my experience on the Lakme Invisible Finish Foundation. So, let’s see how Lakme Invisible Finish Foundation SPF-8, in shade 04 performed.
Invisible Finish Foundation offers perfect blending and full coverage for a flawless almost invisible finish.
- Water based
- SPF 8 (In-Vitro study)

My Take on Lakme Invisible Finish Foundation 04:
I have oily skin. That’s why I always like to use a good matte foundation that keeps my face oil-free. I mostly use my Lakme CC cream and Myabelline BB cream for regular use. However, I wanted to buy a less pricey and light coverage foundation for regular use. After doing lots of searches I decided to buy the Lakme Invisible Finish Foundation. I bought it from a local beauty store. The SA convinced me to take the shade 04, which later I realized, is 2 shades darker than my skin tone. The foundation is available in 5 different shades. Only few shades are available in stores in my city.
The foundation comes in a heavy glass bottle with a spatula attached to the lid and I personally feel it’s not hygienic. I wish it could come in a tube packaging. The foundation has a runny, cream like texture and blends into my skin like a dream. It is really smooth and not thick in texture at all. It has light yellow undertones, which is really perfect for Indian skin tones and most of the shades have this yellow undertone.
It gives my face a dewy glow and lasts for average a time. It gives sheer light coverage, which is ideal for regular use. It hides minor marks effectively, but doesn’t cover any dark marks. I usually mix it with my CC cream to match my skin tone, dot this over my face and use my RT stippling brush or sometimes my makeup sponge to blend it and it gives a natural looking skin in no time. It doesn’t make my face look cakey neither gives my face a whitish cast. It needs a good shake before every use. In very humid days it lasts for almost 3 hours and in less humid days lasts for 3 plus hours. At this price I can’t expect much, I would say. I simply love it.
Pros of Lakme Invisible Finish Foundation 04:
- Pocket friendly.
- Blends easily.
- Smooth creamy texture.
- Light weight.
- Doesn’t look cakey.
- Contains SPF.
- Covers minor spots.
- Easily available.
Cons of Lakme Invisible Finish Foundation 04:
- Light coverage.
- Not travel friendly for its bulky size.
- Few shades available in stores.
Would I recommend Lakme Invisible Finish Foundation 04?
Yes, definitely but only if you can find your perfect match. And next time I am going to get the shade 02. But, if you want heavy coverage then skip this.
Would I repurchase Lakme Invisible Finish Foundation 04?
Yeah 😀 . It’s a good foundation with a pocket friendly price tag and best for regular use.
So, Angels that was the review on Lakme Invisible Finish Foundation in shade 04. I hope this review was helpful and let me know if you have tried this yet. Take care my Angels. Love you.
