  1. My favourite is the third one… I am really liking the sound of this lip artist… Alas! It won’t launch for at least 2 more weeks here…

  2. I NEVER rely on Lakme website on breakdown on products !
just look at the liner in first and the last pic .. now , Doesn’t it look photoshopped ??
and that purple liner used as eyeshadow in 3rd pic.. looks nothing like the actual I glide I swatched in the market !!
I wonder if lakme Actually uses the mentioned products 😕 😕

Btw I love the idea in 3 rd look .. using bindis to create that futuristic eye make up 🙂
    .-= Palak´s last blog ..New in Lush – Colour supplements . A preview =-.

    1. The pictures are definitely photoshopped. I mean if they don’t make their models look good, who will buy their products.

I’ll tell you something about the makeup break downs. When makeup artists do all these photoshoot makeups, it is very difficult for them to jot down every single step. They use all HD base makeup and the colours from the latest line of the company. I am ready to accept that the liners could be real but all the lighting and photoshopping have just made them look bright and vibrant.

Btw if you look at the this pic closely there is super heavy contouring done on the jawline of the model to give her that oval look. SO obviously not all the products used are or could be mentioned. I guess they are just there to give us a rough idea about what could be created.

And now I want to laugh for writing all this. 😀

  3. I am love the first & the forth… Some very nice eye makeup and the gold & the blue look amazing 🙂 Hopefully this weekend i can be found at the Lakme counter 😛

    1. You know I was finding something weird about their lips and I was really not able to figure out what. Guess you just hit the nail. They are plumped. And not in a good way…

  4. i saw these already and i already suggested kirti to try out the first look for her wedding makeup look…….

        1. i think the darkest color from maybelline chai latte quad wud work for that purpose……
i was thinkin kirti shud do a similar gold lid with brown crease and line her eyes then use a similar lipcolor….
this makeup is really gorgeous…i would do this look for my wedding if it was me….

          :-* :-* :-*

  5. all pics look photoshoped…. these are great for fashion magazine and promotion… but not for normal wear….

i think we can take the idea and convert it into a wearable look…. i’l try it… sounds fun…

    ANYONE INTERESTED ??? :jump:

  6. hmm am not i would carry off these looks.. but a toned down version of these looks will look great am sure!

    1. yeah, first one can really be simplified and turned into a bridal / party kind of makeup. Lots of pretty shimmer going on there. 🙂

  7. I love the look of the last one. I am so gonna try a toned down version of it. And hey, the eyeliner look of the second one has an Egyptian feel to it. I can totally imagine Cleopatra rocking the heavy liner look 😛
