Lakme has recently launched their new Enrich Matte range with 20 beautiful shades. I am not a fan of Lakme lipsticks, but as an orange lover I picked two orange shades from this range. Today’s review is going to be on Lakme Enrich Matte lipstick in the shade OM10. Let’s get into the review.

My Experience with Lakme OM10 Enrich Matte Lipstick:
Packaging: The lipstick comes in a matte silver cardboard box with the all details. The actual lipstick comes in a plastic tube with a clear lid. Packaging is very similar to their Enrich Satin range; only this one has a matte silver tube which indicates the matte range. I am not impressed with the packaging, but the see-through cap makes it easier to indentify shade. It is definitely travel-friendly.
Shade: The new matte range comes with 20 different shades but as usual they don’t have any shade name but only a few numbers. I have the shade OM10 and ‘OM’ means Orange matte. It is a beautiful, rusty – orange shade in the bullet. But, on my lips, it is more of warm popping orange with a hint of rusty tone. The shade looks gorgeous on my lips. It has a soft hue, which suits Indian skin tones nicely. It doesn’t have any shimmer in it. I really like this soft rusty orange shade. The pigmentation is also nice that needs max two to three swipes for the perfect color. It can hide pigmented lips.
Texture and quality: The texture is soft and glides easily on lips. It evenly spreads on lips and feels light. It has nice non drying matte finish. It is not too dry like the OM12. It doesn’t look patchy on lips like that shade. It keeps lips soft for a good extent, but you need to exfoliate your lips before applying this. It might highlight your dry patches and it is not for dry rough lips.
It transfers little but not crazily. It fades from the center after few hrs or after lunch. But once it settles down in a nice matte stain, it looks better and the texture feels more smooth and even. After few hours my lips feel dry. But the problem can be solved with a lip balm hence the layering doesn’t make it odd.
Staying Power: It stays nicely around 5-6 hours on my lips. It can survive lunch. After lunch it looks little faded but it leaves a nice orange stain on lips that really lasts long. It generally doesn’t crease that much but sometimes it settles down in fine lines slightly but not too much like the ‘OM10’. So I can easily fix that problem with a balm. It is easy to remove from lips with a wipe.
Overall I really like the shade, it is a pretty wearable orange for Indian skin tones but unfortunately the quality is not amazing. But it is definitely better than the shade number OM10. It works nice on my normal lips but on dry chapped lips, a lip balm is must underneath this lipstick.

• No shade name mentioned, only number.
• Strange smell.
• Need to prep lips.
• Settles down in fine lines slightly.
• Makes lip dry after lunch.
• Fades from center.
