Lakme Peach Milk Moisturizer Review

I have used Lakme peach milk moisturizer for 5 years..6 years don’t even remember. it used to come in a pink bottle , just like its winter care lotion. Lakme has relaunched its Peach milk moisturizer as Lakme Fruit Moisture Peach Milk moisturizer. Actually, it’s just old wine in new bottle. Thankfully this time the ingredients are listed. Earlier it used be ” goodness of peaches in a milk cream” sort of stuff. 😛
Anyway! I used to use this moisturizer religiously in summers for years because it feels light, gets absorbed easily and does not feel heavy or greasy. I always use a substitute lotion for winters since my skin is dry and just applying moisturizer once in the morning does not help my skin. What I do is that I take a pea size Lakme peach milk moisturizer and rub between my palms until it gets 80 percent absorbed and I just dab my moist palms on my face. What this does is that adds a little hydration to my skin. On most days I do it on top of my makeup so if there are any dry patches, it takes care of that and prevents any dryness. I also rub it on my arms and hands and it keeps my skin smooth for good 3-4 hours . I re-apply it whenever needed.
I like the packaging. It fits in my bag nicely. The cap is tight and I can easily carry it around.
Coming to the ingredients, there are all sorts of ingredients that may harm your skin- mineral oil, perfume, cetyl alcohol, parabens.. If you have sensitive skin, or if you are allergic to any of the ingredients listed above, steer clear of this. Personally it has never caused me any break outs. Now I use it as a secondary moisturizer but I absolutely have no issues with it. I quite like it as a budget skin care product.
It is a baby pink color mild lotion that smells of “i-dont-know-what” but it is not overly perfumed. It says that it is suitable for all skin types but If you have very dry skin this may give you very temporary relief from dryness.

Hey Rati! Good to know that you have been using it for quite few years…My mum is a Lakme products Fan..But I stick to Nivea. Do try out their range of moisturisers also.. They r nice! :):)

the bottle is kinda cute but apart from that m not impressed with it..m happy with my dove body butter and jergends lotions :))

I find Lakme skin care too highly fragranced to use on my sensitive skin, so usually use their lotions on my hands 😀 😀 😀 . But I like that this has lactic acid. 🙂

I tho loveeee it. I used it for 6 years and it really suited my oily skin. Later i started using other products and completely forgot about it. A few days back my sis reminded me of this, saying that i should go back to it. Surely, i’ll give it a try :).

no it is not enough visakhi but i keep reapplying it. the winter care lotion offers more moisturization than this one.
In that case, i will skip this and try sumthng else… O:)

my dry skinned friend uses this n she swears by this but im not into lakme except for strawberry facewash 🙂
i loved the melon face wash of the lot the most. bt good face washes by lakme this time. really enjoyed using them. :))
ya.. but it is only me or that lakme compacts have tht weird smell which reminds me of some oil .. i tried at the store n cudnt bare it. thank u rati for haveing me back 🙂 cheers…

I am using lakme peach milk moisturizer since 4 months now I started getting pimple on my face since 2 months, very bad experience with lakme, same review i got from one of my friend now she stopped using, I will do same will never ever use lakme moisturizer product
