My Take on Lakme PM12 Enrich Matte Lipstick:

The lipstick comes in the same old Lakmé packaging. It has a matte silver colored plastic casing with a clear cap. The cap shuts tightly and never comes off. This lipstick tube comes in a silver colored cardboard packaging that has product description and other details mentioned on it. This lipstick has only shade number to it, so it becomes a little bit difficult to associate the shade with a number. Overall, the packaging looks a bit flimsy.

The shade #PM12 is a true petal pink shade. This is a subtle everyday shade that looks nice on the lips. It is a perfect everyday pink that flatters my skin tone very well. I love wearing this shade these days. This lipstick has absolutely no sheen or shimmer. This pretty pink shade is best suitable for fair to medium skin tones. The pigmentation of this shade is also decent. Two-three swipes of this lipstick are good enough to deliver a perfect opaque finish. It perfectly hides the pigmentation of my lips and gives an even finish. The lipstick smells strong smell and that is a little bothering. This lipstick looks velvety initially and sets to a nice matte finish after a few minutes.

The texture of the lipstick is smooth and creamy that facilitates an effortless application. There is hardly any dragging of the lips. The formula is lightweight and the lipstick feels comfortable on the lips. It does not give that thick or waxy feel. Prepping the lips well prior to the application is a must before applying this lipstick as it clings to the dry patches of the lips. The formula of the lipstick is slightly moisturizing and does not dry out my lips for the initial 3 hours or so. After that, my lips start to feel dry. The formula is not at all hydrating. The lipstick has the tendency to transfer due to its creaminess.

The lipstick has a decent staying power. It lasted on my lips for some 4-5 hours easily with constant sipping. Though the color faded a little in the mean time. The lipstick does not survive meals and fades away gradually leaving a light stain behind, which looks natural on the lips. The lipstick is easy to remove and does not leave any cheap stain behind. The lipstick does not have any major bleeding or smudging issues normally, but it feathers a little after meals.
