Hey everyone,
Hope you all are doing well. It’s been sometime since I wrote for IMBB and the reason behind it is my ongoing final semester LLB exams. They are hardly leaving me with anytime to even breathe. However, today I thought of taking some time out of my books and resume doing what I love the most, that is, writing for IMBB and checking out the lovely posts on the blog. So, for today I thought of sharing my views on yet another Enrich Satin Lipstick from Lakme which was also a part of my IMBB sponsored haul. The shade is W267, so let’s see how this one fared.
Product Claims:

My Experience with Lakme W267 Enrich Satin Lipstick:
As we all know by now, Lakme products have got a facelift and so has this range. The lipstick now comes in a see through cylindrical case which is really handy and easy to carry around. Its see through cap makes it easy to locate the shade in the stash. I quite like the new packaging as it’s not embarrassing anymore to do touch ups with this new one. The lipstick now also has an outer carton, so I must say that Lakme has put in quite some thought in revamping the range. The only downside to this packaging is that no complete list of ingredients is mentioned anywhere.
Coming to the shade W267, I would call it a mauvy pink shade with very prominent blue undertones. It would go really well with medium to dusky skin tones and I somehow feel that it could look a little off on fair skin tones so I would suggest girls with fair complexion to try it out at a Lakme counter before taking the plunge. This shade for me is one of those colours that I can easily wear to work because it doesn’t look too over the top on my NC42 complexion and at the same time adds that much needed colour to my face.
Texture wise, I would say that I am falling more deeply in love with this range with every passing day. It’s super smooth and creamy to apply and is really moisturising, so yayyy for that! Also, lip balm can totally be skipped. The good part is that instead of being so moisturising the bullet is pretty firm and there are absolutely no chances of melting or breakage (unless you aren’t trying to fight with these! :P). Whatsoever, it doesn’t bleed in spite of being a deep shade and no lip liner is required underneath.
In terms of pigmentation, Lakme has yet again done a great job as the shades are crazily pigmented this time and one swipe is all it takes to get a full blown intensely saturated colour on the pout which I feel is commendable for a drugstore brand. The staying power is pretty decent as well. It stays for a good 2 – 3 hours on the lips which is good enough for a creamy lipstick and fades off eventually leaving behind a soft pink stain which stays for a couple of hours more. It has a tendency to transfer which I feel is common to all creamy finish lipsticks, but given the beauty of this shade I am ready to overlook that bit.

It is a great shade Ankita. Lately, I too have been falling for such statement shades and waiting eagerly for fall to be able to wear these. I like how they have revamped the range and have not added those unnecessary shimmer particles.
Yes indeed Shikha totally love the shade n do give it a shot I am sure u’ll lyk it 🙂
This color must look pretty on lot of people, but so not for me 🙁
It’s totally purple shade. Didn’t looked like that on the bullet. Certainly not my type!!
