My Experience with Lancome #252 Vanilla Pop Juicy Shaker Pigment Infused Bi-Phased Lip Oil:

The pigmented lip oil comes in one of most attractive men’s friendly martini shaker packaging with unique cushiony sponge applicator. As I said I can never get bored of these cute shakers and first time in life my man loved something in my makeup stash. It does have bit strong vanilla fragrance but nothing concerning.
The shade “252 Vanilla Pop” is described as chestnut rose which is true to its description as it comes subtle rosy brown on my lips with high glossy oil tint. Considering its subtle color pay off I was honestly not impressed; but it is because I am more into deeper pigmented lip colors. In fact I wear it more often these days as I am experimenting with subtle, no lip makeup these days and it certainly provides that subtle tint plus softness to my lips, much to my liking.
name

Considering its subtle color pay off I feel it might be tricky for pigmented lips unless you use it as finishing touch over lip liner or lip color. Oh yes it is a versatile product which can be used in multiple ways and the cute sponge applicator makes application a bliss. I can just dab it on lips for bare lips look, yet plumped up hydrated finish; a gentle dabbing over any lipstick or lip liner takes finishing to next level. We can anyway intensify the color pay off with generous dabs; though I dislike that overtly slippery oily finish on lips, which settles onto subtle oily finish, but still the slippery feel is intact.

Coming over its formula, like any lip oil it has bit runny yet non-sticky, non-tacky consistency, which easily spreads on lips without sitting into lip lines or dry patches. I can feel the slippery soft touch and juicy feel on lips throughout wear time. It felt hydrating and comfortable for my dry/normal lips as I felt softer smoother lip texture over a period of wear time. Sadly it does not stay long and fades away with tea/water break and one heavy meal but I feel completely nourished and hydrated lips throughout the wear time.

It does leave faint rosy sheen on lips which can be easily taken care of. I feel this is by far most hydrating and comfortable lip oil I have tried personally. I wish the pigmentation was bit more than just a subtle tint; it would have been my HG lip oil then. I am sure it will work well on dry parched lips as it does not emphasize dryness or lip lines. Whatsoever, it has all good features of ideal lip oil cum sheer gloss as it made my lip texture better and better with regular usage. I am sure if you are totally into clear/sheer finish glosses then this martini shaker is your one and only love.
