Lancôme #300 Lemon Explosion Juicy Shaker Pigment Infused Bi-Phased Lip Oil Review

Skin tone: Fair-light, Yellow-neutral undertones
Lip texture: Dry normal with mild pigmentations

Hello friends,
How are you doing today? I am back again with another martini shaker which is really too good to ignore though I am done with these lip oils considering their sheer to almost transparent finish and absolutely average hydrating property. And this particular shimmery pink lip oil from Lancome is way too sheer for my liking. Anyway, let’s read more about Lancome Juicy Shaker 300 Lemon Explosion Pigment Infused Bi-Phased Lip Oil.

My Experience with Lancôme #300 Lemon Explosion Juicy Shaker Pigment Infused Bi-Phased Lip Oil:

I absolutely love this martini shaker packaging along with that unique sponge tip which is the one and only reason of having these babies in my kit honestly! And as the name says it all, this “Lemon Explosion” has sweet bubblegum fragrance which lingers on for few hours.
packaging

Coming over the shade “Lemon Explosion” is described as pink bubble gum flavor which is true to its description as it appears bright coral pink lip oil with shimmers in packaging while it comes up way sheer; almost transparent with hint of shimmers on my lips. Considering it is almost transparent in terms of color pay off, it is impressive to see that shimmers are not OTT. However I am not fan of sheer glosses/lip oils with shimmers either so it seems bit disappointing to me especially after having “Vanilla Pop” which is such pigmented ‘MLBB’ shade.
name

In fact I find nothing worth raving in this shade as it barely stays on my normal dry lips for 2-3 hours; that too fades with light meals or water/tea break leaving behind fine shimmers. Thankfully it does not feel overtly drying or uncomfortable on my dried lips but in any case it is not intended for dry parched lips. I mean it does nothing to improve or maintain smooth lip texture as I have worn it alone at times before stepping out in sun and every time I felt like licking my lips which was certainly due to dehydration as this oil almost evaporated within an hour of wear time.
Lancome juicy shaker review

Oh yes I find it tricky to wear on my dry lips which often crave for hydration even after frequent touch ups as it just seems sitting on top of lips like oil there by fading onto nothing leaving my lips in usual condition. Needless to say, other than the design of this martini shaker there is nothing worth splurging in this range leaving few exceptional shades like “Vanilla Pop”. I do find it fairly hydrating though at times but it is applicable only for naturally soft supple lips as it won’t accentuate dry lips issue further, thankfully, which might be counted as yay. I don’t think you are missing out on anything must-have by skipping this shade or range other than that cute packaging. I might skip it as well.

IMBB Rating – 2.8/5
I think that leaving the darker shades in this range rest all sheer-light shades might be disappointment including this particular shade. I would not mind skipping it in future.
