My Experience with Lancome Le Crayon Kohl in Black Ebony:

I am a huge kohl fan. I would never ever step out of the house without kohl in my eyes, so I have really high expectations from any kohl that I buy.  Black Ebony is a deep black colored kohl though it’s not the blackest black colored kohl I have owned but it does look natural and beautiful on the eyes. The kohl applies very smooth even on my waterline, very creamy and bendable, and easy to sharpen.  This kohl is very easy to smudge which is perfect for creating smokey eyes.  I don’t like using this as an eyeliner because it does smudges and I like my eyeliners to look sharp. If you are considering using this as an eyeliner, use it with a primer or set it with some powder, else you will end up with raccoon eyes.

This kohl is not waterproof, so it does fade quite fast on the waterline and you have to constantly reapply it. Another thing I noticed which is very strange that whenever I apply this as a kohl, it blurs my eyesight for a few minutes. I guess this must be due to waxes in it.  Though it does not irritate my eyes ever, it is sometimes annoying to not be able to see clearly.

This is the longest kohl pencil ever, so safe to say it will last me a long long time, therefore good value for money. I love the fact it come in a variety of beautiful colors like shades of greens and blues. I will definitely be purchasing more of these.
