Laneige might be a new name for a group of readers but those who are familiar with Korean Beauty products must be well aware of the brand. Laneige leads the Korean cosmetic market and brought a revolution by first introducing the cushion foundation trend. Today’s review is about Laneige Water Sleeping Mask, which is one of their most raved products. Let’s see how it works for my oily-combination skin.

An overnight, revitalizing gel mask that absorbs instantly and works while you sleep to deeply hydrate skin. Recharge dehydrated skin overnight. Suggested Usage:
-After toner and emulsion, apply evenly across face.
-After product is absorbed completely, leave treatment overnight and rinse off in the morning.

My Experience with Laneige Water Sleeping Mask:
The sleeping mask comes in a sturdy and light weight plastic jar, which is easy to carry around. It is currently available in 2.7 oz jar, but my first purchase is 50 ml jar which is a part of a Laneige skincare kit. I loved the aqua blue theme of the packaging and product.
Coming to the mask, the mask is gel textured and extremely light weight on skin. It absorbs in micro seconds and leaves a total non-greasy feel on skin. It carries mild yet intoxicating fragrance of roses. It is formulated with ceramides, mineral water and extracts from orange flower, sandalwood and roses. Also, it is free from harmful chemicals and not tested on animals. The product is suitable for all skin types and dermatologically tested.
Now coming to the performance and results, the overnight mask is a burst of hydration for dry skin. It really repairs skin and improves it within few days’ usage. You can clearly feel the softness in skin and the difference is visible in the overall health of the skin. Infused with apricot, chestnut and so any other minerals, it turned out to be a great remedy for my tired and ignored skin. It contributes towards renewal of skin by evening out skin tone. However, there isn’t any significant difference seen in hyper pigmentation or fading of blemishes.
