This review will be on the Laura Gellar Color Luster Lip Gloss in the shade “Berry Smoothie.”

My Experience with Laura Geller Berry Smoothie Color Luster Lip Gloss:

Packaging:  This gloss comes in a clear plastic tube. The applicator is a flat, two-side applicator which is very precise and picks up product from both the sides.

Texture:  This gloss is a bit thick. It does feel quite sticky on the lips which is something I am pleased with.

Shade:  The shade “Berry Smoothie” is a very pale, pastel, bubble gum pink. This particular shade does not suit my skin tone at all. It is very cool toned and the milky tone makes me look very weird. The only way I would ever be able to wear this is topped over a lip liner or lipstick. Since it is a very light shade, it also goes on a bit streaky which is very visible when using this on its own. Topped over a lip liner, the streakiness is less visible. This shade works well to lighten the lip color you have underneath and make it appear more like a n*de shade.

Finish:  This lip gloss is very glossy and has high shine. I am more of a matte-loving gal than gloss, but that is just a matter of preference. If you are someone who likes glossy lips, you might like the look of these glosses.

Staying Power:  Staying power is okay, I do get about 3-4 hours of wear with no snacks or drinks before the glossiness fades away which is standard for most lip glosses.

Overall, for the price, I don’t think these are exceptional lip glosses. These are some better drugstore glosses which are less than half the price. I dislike this particular shade on my skin tone, in fact, I don’t think this lip gloss shade can be used on its own at all, it is more of a topper. I don’t like the sticky feeling on my lips which this gloss imparts. I don’t think I will recommend this nor repurchase it.

Pros of Laura Geller Berry Smoothie Color Luster Lip Gloss:

• High glossy shine.
• Simple see-through packaging.
• Two-sided applicator.
• No off-putting scent.

Cons of Laura Geller Berry Smoothie Color Luster Lip Gloss:

• Sticky texture.
• Absolutely horrible pastel milky shade (against my skin tone).
• Can only be used as a lipstick topper.
• Applies a bit streaky.
• Isn’t very hydrating, but does not cling to my dry patches, thankfully.
• Too expensive and no better than other drugstore lip glosses.
• Average staying power.
