I am here to share one of my not so favorite glosses (please read sheer disappointment). I wanted to start this New Year with more happening products but I really want to share this disappointing product as a warning signal to keep you safe from shopping duds this year. Let’s read more about it!

My Experience with Laura Geller Color Drenched Lip Gloss – Pink Lemonade:
The gloss comes in traditional transparent plastic tube packaging with a doe foot applicator. It does have a weird smell pretty similar to Sephora cream lip stains, even though they aren’t similar in formula or finish anywhere.
Talking about my shade “Pink Lemonade”, it looked a pretty appealing warm pink shade in packaging but it is way frosty bubble gum pink in finish. Sadly bubble gum pinks are not my forte plus shimmers with pinks is always nay for my skin tone as it either washes out on my skin tone or makes me look tanned. Moreover, its uneven streaky finish makes it tricky further to an extent that I would never want to wear it again.
Yes gals, unlike its sister shade “Brandy”, this shade seems streaky in finish which is well visible on our lips. I think I always see this issue with pastel pink glosses except few good brands. I like how the gloss gives sheer to moderate coverage to lips but then the not-so-smooth uneven finish cancels all positive points of this shade. Even the shimmers in this gloss are way mild and subtle to make it perfect shimmery gloss if only the finish was up to mark and not streaky.
It tends to sit in lip lines minutes after application and I fear it may sit on dry patches. However, even the gloss has fine consistency as it is neither runny nor very thick but the finish made it a hard to bear product. I can see it has non-sticky and decent moisturizing formula even with the presence of shimmers and it does not look frosty on lips, which means that we can certainly try other shades in this range.
The staying power of gloss is decent though this gloss will stay for 4-5 hours leaving behind soft supple lips but I have tried few more shades from this series which are way better than this shade. I feel that the shade was easily workable but the blotchy finish is beyond correction even with a lip liner. I won’t recommend this shade to anyone considering its tricky finish.
Pros of Laura Geller Color Drenched Lip Gloss – Pink Lemonade:
• A decent moisturizing shimmery bubble gum pink lip gloss infused with goodness of vitamin e and other oil emollients.
• It is neither runny nor sticky/thick, just perfect in consistency even with the presence of shimmers.
• The gloss moderately hydrates our lips without accentuating or aggravating further dryness.
• Decent staying power along with travel-friendly packaging.
Cons of Laura Geller Color Drenched Lip Gloss – Pink Lemonade:
• The shade is totally different than what it looks in packaging.
• The finish comes up streaky and blotchy irrespective of wearing on well scrubbed and polished lips.
• It also tends to sit in lip lines highlighting even most fine lines of our lips.
• The shade itself seems tricky for fair/pale skin tone.
• It is definitely pricy for such low performance.

Would I Recommend Laura Geller Color Drenched Lip Gloss – Pink Lemonade?
Well, I honestly the price is too much for this shade considering the shade and the below average performance. I don’t think I would consider it again even for recommendations.

At this price we definitely expect a good performing product. So sad it didn’t turn out as expected
