ingredients

My Experience with Laura Geller Plumberry Baked Gelato Vivid Swirl Blush:

The blush comes in a compact packaging with a completely transparent and sturdy flip top cap. The plastic cap, though, seems bit sturdy, I still handle it with care as I fear it might break in luggage. Over all, it is quite user friendly and travel friendly.

blusher brush

The shade, Plumberry, is defined as deep berry pink blush which is true to its name. It is a bright berry pink blush, which is pretty wearable and looks like plum pink on my pale skin even with the presence of shimmers. I wonder how these shimmers blend nicely on my skin without making me look like a disco ball and even without transferring. Yes gals, this shimmery blush is an exception which gives full color pay off with just a hint of shimmer. It gives such a beautiful translucent sheen, which looks pretty natural if applied nicely.

packaging

It screams romantic winters as whenever I wear it on my light skin tone, it makes me gleam from within like a young gal. Even I have plans to pack it for my upcoming trip to a snowy region; it will definitely add pinky glow to my pale and frozen face in snow. It is one of the most intensely pigmented blushes I have tried so far. It only need a gentle touch or swirl of blusher brush on the pan to deposit a natural pink tint on my cheeks. And we can easily build it up for dramatic look in just 2-3 strokes.

details

Considering I have open pores, oily skin and oval face shape, I usually like sweeping the blush along my hairline for a bit contoured and natural look. Hence, I only need to gently tap this brush on the blusher and lightly sweep along my hairline to get that perfect, natural-looking blush on my cheeks. Even a sheer tint of this blusher tends to stay for almost 7-8 hours on my skin.

plum blush

I pretty much agree to their claims when they talk about its creamy texture and a subtle sheen. It feels powdery soft on my skin as I see no fallout either on the pan or on my skin. Moreover, as I have realized the importance of using correct makeup tools, I feel that a good fluffy angled brush will work well with this texture and finish. I still feel that I have a long way to go with blushes, but then, with this blush and shade, I can never go wrong.

blush pan

It does not feel drying at all; it never accentuates or aggravates my oily, acne-prone skin. Over all, I am quite happy with this purchase even though it seems pricey, especially for the shimmery finish. But, considering the results on my skin tone, I feel I can definitely get it again. I will definitely recommend this blush to every beauty.
