I will share my review about Laura Mercier Crème Smooth Lip Color in the shade “Milky Way” today. Laura Mercier added a couple of new shades to their “Crème Smooth Lip Color” range and “Milky Way” is one of them. Let’s take a look at the lipstick in detail.

A luxurious lipstick that gives lips the ultimate in colour, texture, and finish. In one smoothing swipe, the crème formula envelops lips in rich colour with a semi-lustrous finish. The cushion-y, lightweight texture feels comfortable, while pure Olive Oil and Vitamin E nourish lips. Long-wearing formula (6 hours to 8 hours), does not bleed or feather; does not dry or fade; does not setting into lip lines. This lipstick features an elegant, modern case with a metalized finish. This fragrance-free formula is dermatologist- and allergy-tested to minimize the risk of allergy and irritation.

How To Use:

Press bullet to lips using even pressure to apply colour on both upper and lower lips; to refresh press lip together. For more defined lips – line lips with Lip Pencil before or after Lip Colour application.

My Take on Laura Mercier Milky Way Crème Smooth Lip Colour:

Let’s admit, I fell for the luxurious packaging. The elegant, metallic grey case is a beauty. Not only unique in shape and finish, it’s functional and closes tight. The case is travel friendly and lightweight with regular twist-up mechanism to reveal the bullet.

Starting with the shade, Laura Mercier Crème Smooth Lip Color Milky Way is a pure brown shade with slightly satiny finish. The look it provides is lightly lustrous due to the presence of tiny golden particles in the formula. It has a medium coverage and can be built over for full opacity with a couple of swipes. The formula is superb; extremely creamy and moisturising but feather light on lips. It is fragrance free and glides on like butter on the lips.

The longevity is 6 hours on average with routine tea/coffee and snack intake. It doesn’t feather, doesn’t smudge and doesn’t settle into fine lines – a complete winner. Even it hides the patches on dry lips to great extent; so can be forgiving if you had no time to exfoliate the lips. It transfers slightly to cutlery and stuff, but can be wiped out easily. I am not much of a brown lip color fan, but I am loving the formula to limits.

Cons of Laura Mercier Milky Way Crème Smooth Lip Colour:

• Couldn’t find any set back, except that I am not much of a brown lip color person but that again is a personal preference.

Yes, definitely a repurchase product for me, but in a different shade. I recommend the formula to everyone because with 40 shades in the range, there must be at least one for you!
