My Experience with Leaders Clinic Derma Soul Regeneration Mask:

This brand differentiates itself from the competition by stressing its dermatological roots. The brand is apparently formulated by dermatologists in South Korea and thus, places a lot of emphasis on how it actually works. Well, I’m all for that! Give me something, no-frills that works over some souped-up marketing schtick with a skinny celebrity on the front any day.

This is a sheet mask and comes in a very neat-looking silver-purple foil packaging. The mask inside is a very moist looking sheet of silk cellulose swimming in a clear essence. Ooh, so that’s what a mask swimming around in a ampoule of liquid looks like. The mask has a slightly sweet, pleasant smell, but the smell doesn’t linger. The texture of the clear liquid is like water, but a little stickier. The mask material is made out of silk cellulose which makes it thicker and stronger than paper, but otherwise, it feels and behaves just like paper.

The serum in the mask is easily absorbed, and doesn’t sting the skin. The mask is a little big for my face. I left the mask on for about 25 minutes and the mask still had a lot of liquid serum. So I took off the mask, squeezed out the serum in 3 to 4 rounds and kept massaging like we do in facials on my face in upward motions. I left the serum while making some green tea, sipped it and washed off.

The mask has definitely regenerated my tired and stressed looking skin. I made me look fresh and lively with no breakouts. I have a combination skin with oily T zone and dry cheeks. Now, my cheeks look rejuvenated and moisturised too. My daily cream does a good job, but off lately, I have been too sick to take care of my skin. So, I could clearly see the difference on my cheeks. It didn’t give me a glow (I wasn’t expecting nor does it claim). The claim of achieving a whole new skin is just a little overrated according to me, but it’s a very good mask. It has definitely lifted my spirits and it’s been more than 8 hours now that I have used it and skin is still moisturised and feels soft and fresh.
