Hello friends, I’m back with another post! Today, we would be talking about how to lighten dark stomach. Many women notice their stomach skin getting darker than the rest of their body. Having a dark stomach can be really embarrassing especially when you’re planning to wear a crop top or a short blouse with a traditional saree. Dark stomach skin can be due to hormonal imbalance, accumulation of dirt or dust on the skin or a chemical reaction. Sometimes, your lotion or cream may also react with the skin thus leading to a dark stomach.
So, here are some home remedies to lighten dark stomach.

How To Lighten Dark Stomach

1. Almond and Milk Paste:

Almond is packed with vitamin E and healthy fats which will help to rejuvenate your skin and also help to get rid of the dark skin easily. In order to lighten dark stomach, you need to take few almonds and soak them in water. Crush them to make a paste and add some milk to obtain a thick consistency paste. Massage your stomach with this paste and leave it for 15 minutes. Wash off with cold water. Almond contains nourishing properties while milk contains skin lightening properties.

2. Aloe Vera:

Aloe vera is an ingredients which is an excellent skin moisturizer as well as skin lightener. In order to treat dark stomach skin, scoop out some fresh aloe vera gel from leaves and massage your skin with this. It will help to lighten the skin easily and also help to remove any dark spots easily. You can use aloe vera on any skin type. Use it on daily basis to get rid of the dark stomach skin.

3. Citrus Mask:

You should be using a citrus mask on stomach in order to lighten and brighten your stomach skin. Lemon or orange contains a high amount of Vitamin C which plays a major role in skin lightening. Take two spoons of yoghurt, add one spoon of orange peel powder and one spoon of lemon juice to it. Mix together and apply on the stomach. Massage for 10 minutes and wash off with water.

4. Sandalwood Powder:

Sandalwood contains skin brightening and lightening properties which can help to promote glowing skin. It also helps in decreasing the melanin production in the body. Sandalwood powder contains essential nutrients which help to cleanse the skin. Take one spoon of sandalwood powder and add milk to it. Apply on the stomach and allow the mask to dry. Wash off with cold water.

5. Potato Juice:

Potato juice contains a high amount of antioxidants and Vitamin C which can help whiten the skin and also remove the dead skin cells. In order to lighten a dark stomach, take some potato juice and apply on the stomach. Allow the potato juice to spread on your skin. Wait until the skin absorbs the potato juice completely. Wash off with water.

6. Blueberry Mask:

Another easy way to lighten dark stomach is using a blueberry mask. Take some blueberries and crush them into a paste. Add some yoghurt and mix together. Apply the blueberry mask on the stomach and wash off with water. Blueberry contains immunity boosting properties which can help in skin lightening and brightening.

7. Baking Soda:

Baking soda has scrubbing properties which can help to remove the dead skin cells and also promote even-toned skin. In order to lighten your stomach naturally, take some baking soda and add water to make a thick paste. Apply it and leave it on for some time. Wash off with water. You can also mix baking soda with yoghurt and apply on the stomach for skin lightening.

8. Cucumber Juice:

Due to a large amount of Vitamin C, A, B1, biotin and potassium, cucumber juice can help to promote lighter skin. In order to get lighter and brighter skin, you need to take some cucumber juice and apply on the stomach. Wash off with water after some time. Vitamin C in cucumber plays an important role in collagen production.
