My Experience with LipIce Dancing Pink Water Colour:
Let’s begin the review with the packaging of the product. The product comes in a regular cardboard packaging. The lip balm tube is glossy black in color. The base of the tube bears a sticker indicating the shade name. The cap of the tube shuts securely making an audible click sound and makes it purse friendly. The size of the lip balm tube is apt for carrying in the pocket. The shape of the lip balm bullet is slightly slanted which aids in easy application. Overall, everything is great about the packaging of the product.
This lip balm comes in four different variants – I have got two, Vintage Pink and Dancing Pink. The shade that I am reviewing today is called Dancing Pink. It is a shimmery light pink shade. The shimmers in the lip balm are subtle and do not look chunky on the lips, but once the color is gone, these shimmers are left behind. It is a little bit tough to get rid of these shimmers. I need a makeup remover to wipe them off completely.
This lip balm has a soft glossy sheen in it. This variant is better than Vintage Pink. It looks better on my lips. The pigmentation of this lip balm is average and it does not cover the pigmentation of the lips completely. The lip balm does not have any smell or taste. It is absolutely fragrance free. So, it is a great option for people who do not like fragranced lip products.
The texture of the lip balm is great. It is very smooth and creamy. Therefore, it glides on the lips like a dream. The formula is non sticky and feels comfortable on the lips. The formula is lightweight and does not have that thick waxy texture. The formula is very nourishing. My lips stay hydrated for pretty long after applying this lip balm. The lip balm is very moisturizing in nature. My lips never feel dry even when the lip balm is wiped off or after meals. So, I am actually impressed with the hydration properties of this product. There is no SPF content in this balm.
The lasting power of the lip balm is somewhere around 2-3 hours on my lips. Hence, it requires frequent reapplication. It also does not survive meals and goes off completely without leaving any tint behind, but the shimmers are left behind.
