Hi to Everyone,
Shine on… Flirt on… You must be thinking what has happened to me today. Why suddenly flirting. Well this is what my today’s product says. This is actually my first time when I am reviewing a lip product with lip swatches so please forgive me in case you do not like it. Well I was searching for an everyday wear tinted Lip balm/ lip colour and I came across Lipice. I have actually read about this brand on IMBB only. (See IMBB is so amazing).
So let me review today’s product- Lipice Hotty Pink lip colour
INR 200 for 2.3gm
LipIce Micro Shine Colour not only treats your lips but also provides you with vivacious, fresh and seductive lips.
LipIce Colour with a burst of spectacular colour that keeps your lips soft, smooth and nourished.
Enriched with Natural Beeswax and Mineral Oil that provide ample moisture to lips while giving a smooth and even finish.
Enhanced with high moisturising formula that keeps lips soft, smooth and nourished.
Fortified with Micro Shine Granules that give your lips a sparkling glow.
It comes with UV protection that guards your lips from harmful UVA/UVB rays.
Does not smudge and transfer to teeth.
The product comes in cardboard packaging with all the details regarding ingredients and product mentioned at the back . The lip colour comes in lipstick-like style with silver colour outside and having small little starts on it. The cap is white in colour. The colour is very pigmented and is exactly what I wanted. It truly justifies it name – “Hotty Pink”. Also the name Micro shine is present in glitters but they do not show up much on your lips after application (good for me). It glides smoothly on lips and the below swatches are from a single swipe only. The staying power is also nice. It stays for like 4-5 hours without meals and my lips remained so soft till it was there on the lips. It fades away by leaving a tint on lips. But one has to be careful as the texture is smooth and can be break if too much pressure is applied (you can see it in swatch on hand). It also mentions about UV protection but doesn’t say about SPF content. Overall it is a very nice product to keep in your vanity.
Positives for Lipice Hotty Pink lip colour
• Easy on wallet
• Good staying power
• Keeps your lips moisturized
• Tight cap hence can be carried in your bag every time
• Cute packaging
• UV shield
Negatives Lipice Hotty Pink lip colour
• Nothing mentioned about SPF
• Very soft in texture, can break easily
• Contains parabens
• Availability ( I have not seen this product in shops other than online but that is actually not a con, everyone shops online these days)
Will I repurchase/ recommend Lipice Hotty Pink Lip Colour?
Despite all the above mentioned I cons, I totally loved the product.
Yes I will surely repurchase it and will also try its other colours. I will recommend this to all those who like a little girly kinda colour esp. college and office going girls.
