Lipsticks are totally my weakness and I can never let go of an opportunity to buy one more. Recently, I was introduced to the Lipstick Queen brand and I had picked up two lipsticks from their high end “Velvet Rope” collection. This time around, I chose a lipstick from their “Sinner” range and the shade that I picked is “Coral.” Read on to find out more about this lipstick.

My Experience with Lipstick Queen Coral Sinner Lipstick:
Packaging: This lipstick comes in a black round case packaging with Lipstick Queen printed on it. The packaging is pretty simple but effective.
The cap shuts tight and there is no danger of the cap accidentally opening up.
Shade/Pigmentation: This is truly a gorgeous shade for a lipstick. As the name suggests, it is coral, but this is not your average coral shade; it has slight brown undertones, which make it a warm shade and very wearable for Indian skin tones. I have absolutely fallen in love with this shade and can see myself wearing it throughout the warm summer months.
The pigmentation of the lipstick is fantastic, one swipe and you are set it go. You can surely layer it if you like. Layering does not lead to clumping.
Texture/Finish: This is a matte lipstick but the texture is nice and creamy. It applies effortlessly and with no tug at all. The finish is semi matte. It is a matte with just the slightest sheen to prevent it from looking dull and flat.
The lipstick does not feel drying and keeps the lips looking pretty throughout its wear time. There is no flaking or settling into lip lines. There is no feathering or migrating either. In short, no problems that you would otherwise find in matte or long lasting lipsticks.
The staying power of the lipstick is quite good. It does transfer but only slightly. It pretty much stays on for 7-8 hours with minimal fading.
Overall, this is a great formula and I especially loved the shade. I would like to mention here that each shade from the “Sinner” range is also available in the “Saint” range which is not as highly pigmented and is expected to give you only a slight sheer balm-like finish. So, if you love the shade but are more inclined towards a sheer pigmentation, you can try the Coral Saint lipstick. I have not personally tried it and hence cannot comment on it.

- Expensive (but then, this is not drugstore and the price is comparable to other prestige brands).

Yes, I would totally recommend this lipstick as it is a great formula and a lovely shade. If I happen to finish this one, I will surely repurchase as I am in love with this shade.
