Lipstick Queen Medieval Lipstick Review

Here’s one more lipstick from the brand Lipstick Queen. I have reviewed a few shades (Trance, Jean Queen) from their range on IMBB and this is seriously one of the best sheer lipstick formulas that I have ever tried. The shade that I will be reviewing today is “Medieval.”

Lipstick Queen Medieval Lipstick Review

Product Description:
Medieval is the red that flatters all complexions. Impossible to detect as anything other than a sensual melancholic hue.” Poppy King, Lipstick Queen Founder. During medieval times, when lipstick was considered a sin, women used the natural acidity of lemons to bring forth a natural blood-red stain on their lips. This flattering look has been recreated by Poppy in this best-selling tint. Medieval is purely vitamin E and pigment, making it silky to wear and divinely transparent. And best of all it makes your skin look flawless.

My Experience with Lipstick Queen Medieval Lipstick:

“Medieval” comes housed in a metallic red metal packaging with metallic font on it. The brand name “Lipstick Queen” is written on the cap and the shade name is printed at the bottom of the tube.

As I have mentioned above, these lipsticks offer sheer coverage and are easy to apply on-the-go without using a mirror. These have a balmy texture, which is buildable from very sheer to light coverage.

“Medieval” is a blue-based red shade which will suit almost every skin tone and even though it is a red lipstick, it is perfect for everyday use. It’s a very wearable red!

These glide on easily and doesn’t feel heavy even applying several layers of the lipstick. The formula doesn’t settle into fine lines and make lips smooth, plump and even. This lipstick formula also doesn’t bleed around the lips.

This particular shade is pigmented than the other ones, so it needs less layers to offer a light coverage. The only drawback of the lipstick is that it doesn’t survive meals and needs reapplication. It does leave a slight stain which is barely there, but still, thankfully, it won’t make your lips look flat.

It feels very lightweight and comfortable on the lips and feels very hydrating throughout the wear time. In fact, after it gets worn off, my lips still feel very hydrating. I get 3 to 4 hours of wear time with “Medieval.”
