Livon Moroccan Silk Serum For a Change!

Hey all!

Hope you beauties are doing fine and staying as gorgeous as you are! 🙂

My L’Oreal Total Repair 5 hair serum was recently  over and I was on the lookout for a new and good serum that would be as good as my previous one or better. I went to a Beauty store in Bandra my savior when it comes to buying anything that is beauty-related. I usually go there if I don’t get the stuff I want online at good rates 😛 Anyway, back to topic. I got the serum from there and I took the smaller bottle. Read ahead in my review to find out how this serum fares! 🙂

My Take On Livon Moroccan Silk Serum:

I have always despised Livon since it’s very first hair serum. It always caused my hair to fall and since then I swore that I wouldn’t ever use it again! Obviously, until I bumped into this little beauty. The hair serum comes in a nice pink box and inside is a cute small pink bottle with a white pump. I bought the serum on a trial basis and I must say I am impressed! I don’t see it doing wonders to my hair but as an everyday serum, it’s really good. I used it before straightening my hair and it made them look so good! My hair didn’t look oily at all in spite of the serum’s nature being a little more on the liquid side. I always use it before/while travelling to avoid fly-aways and it really helps! In short, it serves its purpose and that’s what I like most about the product 🙂

Pros of Livon Moroccan Silk Serum :

1) Lives up to its claims.
2) Protects hair from damage, thanks to the UV Filter.
3) Morocco’s Argan Oil helps nourish hair making them look healthy and nice.
4) Helps manage hair really well.
5) Cute, girly packaging.
6) Small size helps making it travel-friendly.
7) Value for money.
8) Non-sticky and does not make hair feel oily.

Cons of Livon Moroccan Silk Serum :

1) May not do wonders to dry hair.
2) Needed to be a little thick in nature as it takes a lot of quantity to set my hair otherwise.
3) May not get rid of frizz.
4) Strong perfume-like smell, which in my personal opinion, I don’t like.

Conclusion on Livon Moroccan Silk Serum :

I am really impressed with Livon coming out with such a good product. It contains Morocco’s Argan oil and selling at such a great price, I feel it is totally worth a shot! The product lives up to its words and that’s what is most important at the end of the day. I am happy with my purchase 😀

  1. Looks tempting. The first time I tried Livon serum it caused such bad hairfall that my comb had more hair than my head! Now, I use Matrix, which is pretty good. Will give this one a try.

  2. I tried it and didn’t do anything for my extremely dry and frizzy hair. It was as good as any other serum available at the market but the price is unbeatable!
