Livon has become a household name, and this serum is dedicated to ladies with dry, frizzy and unruly hair. Let’s get into the review now.

My Experience with Livon Serum for Dry and Unruly Hair:

The packaging is similar to the old variant of Livon Hair Serum. It comes in a slender, transparent plastic bottle, with a flip open cap. The theme of this variant is shiny purple, instead of the old magenta color. The bottle and outer cardboard box has all product details. The product is available in different sizes- 25 ml, 50 ml and 100 ml. Overall, I find this serum pretty convenient to use and easy to travel with.

Coming to the texture of the serum, it’s thicker than the previous hair serum from Livon. However, it is still non-sticky, non-greasy and blends seamlessly into hair strands. It doesn’t feel heavy on hair, and is perfect for smoothening hair in a jiffy. It isn’t watery or very liquid-y but has a slight tackiness that does the job well.

It is a good choice for my frizzy hair. It tames down flyaways and frizz and make it appear neat and groomed. I take a few drop on the palm of my hand, and rub both hands together, followed by gently smoothing down the length of my hair. It gives the sheen and glossiness without looking sticky or oily. On some days, I use it on wet hair before drying to let it get a soft natural smoothness. It aids in easier detangling and styling.

It also helps in reducing my hair breakage, by reducing knots in my hair. It looks and feels good, soft and smooth. I won’t recommend this for people with very thin, limp hair as it can weigh down hair. It has a mild, floral fragrance- not bothersome.
