Loccitane Cherry Blossom Hand Cream

There are two types of makeup and beauty junkies; the ones who concentrate full heartedly on the way their hair and makeup looks and the others who are obsessed with beauty from head to toe! I’m sure you will come to realise, which type I am… I absolutely love anything which will beautify the skin and body I was born with! My best friend recently surprise me with a selection of travel size L’Occitane hand creams, I love them all – the consistency, fragrances and moisturising quality is incomparable to other brands, although I am aware it is not as affordable / accessible. However, there was one tube of hand cream which particularly stood out for me and quickly became my favourite! The Loccitane Cherry Blossom Hand Cream is an absolute dream to apply; it has a distinct fragrance and almost smells as if you are wearing fresh smelling perfume without being too over-powering. The consistency is smooth and not too thick, therefore, simple to rub into your hands.

If like myself, you love the feeling of your hands being moisturised lightly on the surface, yet deeply absorbed – this hand cream will do wonders for you all year round! The hand cream comes in a tube with a screw cap lid, which can be slightly problematic due to being easily squashed in your bag. I have been using it once a day for the past 3 weeks and I can definitely say that it has helped to hydrate my normally flaky skin on my hands.

L’Occitane Cherry Blossom hand cream is enriched with beautiful ingredients such as Shea butter and cherry extract, which explains the elegant fragrance released once applied.

Although I do not use a large amount each time I apply the hand cream, I am not sure I have full confidence that this will be a hand cream which will last me particularly long. However, I will not hesitate to rush to the shopping mall to indulge in another tube! It is the nicest smelling hand cream I have ever tried and I am so grateful to having been introduced to it. If you dislike the smell of cherry blossoms or a floral scent, then this is probably not the one for you. My job often involves working quite closely to people’s faces and it is important for my hands not to be rough or smell uncomfortable for the client. This hand cream works very well in not being greasy, yet smells like a light perfume smell.

I love the scent so much, that I have often not needed to apply perfume which is great!
I particularly like the packaging, most hand creams I have had in the past tend to scream out “hand cream”, whereas this L’Occitane tube is understated and chic – a simple design at its finest. As the tube is similar to a toothpaste tube, if you squeeze with a lot of pressure, you will have squeezed far more hand cream out than expected.

Price and availability:
Loccitane Cherry Blossom Hand Cream (30ml) retails for £8, which is fairly reasonable for a highly recommended moisturiser. The availability is not extremely wide spread, although the selections of L’Occitane products are widely available in department stores and many online retailers.
