My Experience with L’Occitane Roses Beautifying Body Milk:
Packaging: The packaging of the L’Occitane Roses Beautifying Body Milk is cute and good quality. The body milk comes in a sturdy bottle with a golden coloured flip open cap. The bottle is clear and hence the slight pink lotion is visible through the bottle. This bottle does not come in a cardboard-paper box which I was expecting since L’Occitane is a high end brand. The packaging and the size of this baby makes it a travel friendly product.
Colour and Smell: The moisturizer is a slight pink coloured lotion that blends colourless into the skin. It has a beautiful rose fragrance which gives an illusion of smelling like a bouquet of roses. I kid you not, the fragrance is totally mesmerising. Also the rose scent is not something like roses mixed with chemicals; it’s like pure roses. All the products in this line by L’Occitane have the same fragrance which I love. It is neither overpowering nor does it irritate the skin.
Texture: The texture of this L’Occitane Roses Beautifying Body Milk is very creamy yet non-greasy. It is light-weight with a consistency between a cream and a lotion. Neither is it too runny nor too thick; it is more like a rich cream. Considering that I have oily skin, it does not leave an oily residue, but gets absorbed into the skin quite well and easily after application. I am pretty impressed with the texture and consistency of this body milk.
Longevity: I must say that this product is quite moisturizing and the hydration that it provides stays on the skin for about 6-7 hours. It makes the skin really smooth, soft and plump! It feels so luxurious till the time it stays on. I usually use this baby on my spa weekends as I love using high-end body products then.
