For a long time, I have been looking to buy something which would make the whole process of cleaning my brushes easier which is when I came across this product and was curious to give this a try. This review will be on the London Brush company Pure Goat Milk Solid Brush Shampoo.
London Brush Company’s chemical-free brush shampoo is the original. So pure it’s food grade and safe for kids too. Travel safe. This is a solid shampoo specifically designed to clean and condition your makeup brush and the tea tree adds additional anti-bacterial elements. We have balanced our recipe very carefully so that the integrity of the brush hair is not disrupted. Our Brush Shampoo cleans deeply and does not over condition.

My Experience with London Brush Company English Lavender Goat Milk Brush Shampoo:
Packaging: This brush soap comes in a small tub packaging with lid, hence it’s extremely convenient to use and travel with.
Usage: Washing your brushes using this soap is literally, so easy and takes no effort. You simply swirl your damp brushes in this and create a lather. Though it will not create tons of lather unless you swirl it many times, but I find that even with the smallest amount of this shampoo, I can clean my brush. Once the brush hair picks up some cleanser, I swirl it around in my hand and give it a thorough rub and I can just see all of the makeup clean off instantly.
I love the fact that this product has all natural ingredients which are food grade. Since you put makeup brushes on your face constantly, it feels good to have something natural and chemical free to clean them. It also has tea tree oil, which acts as an anti-bacterial agent.
It has tons of oil and goat milk to help condition the bristles which is why I love using this especially to wash my natural hair brushes ( like my Wayne goss brushes). Once my brushes are washed and dried, the difference is immediately felt in the natural hair bristles. They feel so much smoother and softer and do not have any hint of residue on them. The hair on the brush feels like you gave them a hair conditioning treatment.
Fragrance: This product comes in 3 scents – Naturally Clean, Lemon Zest, and English Lavender. I have the scent “English Lavender” and it is not too overly strong and smells authentic. I really love the scent of lavender and find that it calms me, hence I do like how my brushes faintly linger of that scent whenever I have washed them with this brush.
Overall, I really love this product. Though it is a bit on the expensive side, I will only reserve this product for my natural hair bristles which need that extra care and conditioning. I will definitely recommend this.
