Hello and thank you for all the appreciation my fellows. This review is about the last and my most favourite Lorac Eye Shadow in shade Precious Metal. I wanted to own such a shade since months and this is not completely, but nearly what I wished for. Let’s read out how it performs.
Product Description: (from website)
Original velvety-smooth eye shadow formula in shimmering shades perfect for day or night. You can wear individually or layer together for gorgeous eyes that get noticed.
$6. Net weight is 1.7 gms.
My Experience with Lorac Eye Shadow Precious Metal:
Packaging: This beautiful eye shadow from Lorac cosmetic’s collection comes in a circular plastic pan with transparent cover, which closes with screw threads and makes it travel friendly. The cap is labelled with Lorac and curvy surface gives a nice look. The shade name and weight is labelled at the bottom of the pan.
Texture and finish: Lorac eyeshadow Precious Metal has a finely milled texture and feels really very silky when swatched. Loosely compacted in pan, one light handed brush touch picks up product effortlessly. The shade blends superbly for the texture and softness it carries, resulting in a perfect look. The finish is highly satiny, but no discrete shimmer particles or chunks can be seen. Yet, it is overall a glowing, shiny eye shadow.
Colour and pigmentation: Lorac Precious Metal is a beautiful shiny champagne eyeshadow. I love the way it turns out to be when blended. The shade couldn’t have been more perfect. The pigmentation is amazing and you will often end up working with a single swipe and then blending it in no time. The shade is not only appropriate for Asian bridal makeup looks, but can be utilized as a brow bone shade too once in a while. If you own this, you might not need to invest in a golden-sheen highlighter at all.
Longevity and fallout: This is absolutely lovely and stays long hours even without eye shadow primer; 5 hours easily on average. With a primer, you will never need to worry about the lasting time; rather don’t forget removing it after all day long in that case. It stays in place without creasing. I haven’t been bothered by fallout issues. The pan and application, both are kept neat by Lorac Precious Metal. Just be careful not to use a concealer as a substitute of eye shadow primer as the end result might be the creasing of even best of the best quality product on your eyelids. Let’s sum it up.
Pros of Lorac Eye Shadow Precious Metal:
- Highly satin champagne shade for party and events.
- Multiple use shade; eyeshadow and highlighter.
- Wonderfully pigmented; no need to re-swipe brush in pain multiple times.
- No shimmer chunks separately visible.
- Finely milled texture with silky feel.
- Easy and perfect blending.
- One swipe of brush picks up all you need from pan.
- No fallout issues in pan or during application.
- Looks amazing without primer even and lasts 5 hours on average on its own.
- Stays in place without creasing.
- Travel safe.
Cons of Lorac Eye Shadow Precious Metal:
- Contains Parabens.
4.75/5 (contains Parabens, but generous rating for the shade is amazingly beautiful)
Would I repurchase/recommend Lorac Eye Shadow Precious Metal?
If I ever was any good with eye makeup looks, I would have loved to post some EOTD, but I am a failure in this category so far. So kindly accept my excuse folks 🙂 . I will definitely love repurchasing this shade; absolute favourite and definite recommendation. Ciao till next article.
