My Experience with Lorac Eye Shadow White Gold:

Packaging: This single eye shadow from Lorac cosmetic’s kitty comes in a circular plastic pan with transparent cover, which carries the label, Lorac. The shade name and few details (excluding ingredient list) are mentioned on the bottom of the pan. The screw cover closes tight; plastic packaging makes it extremely light weight to carry anywhere. Overall, packaging is designed in an attractive way.

Texture and finish: Lorac eyeshadow White Gold has a finely milled texture unlike Lorac Onyx. It feels silky and smooth when touched. The blend ability is great, but the shade is light; so once you start blending, it starts disappearing and multiple strokes are required for the color to show up while blending it. It doesn’t carry shimmer chunks; just really micro sized ones to add a satin finish to the eyes shadow. It isn’t compacted in pan with too much pressure, which makes it easy to pick with a light handed brush stroke.

Colour and pigmentation: Lorac White Gold is a satiny, cream shade for every day wear. No matter you want a minimal make-up look or need to show up at any office formal event; this shade is going to work. Also, this will serve as base/eyelid shade when doing pastel eye makeup looks. For dark eyelids, a little effort might be required as it is a light shade with good pigmentation, but not as rich as a dark shade will carry.

Longevity and fallout: There is absolutely no fall out when applied. For longevity, it stays without primer for 5 hours on average, if applied with multiple strokes and blended properly. With a primer, it lasts much longer, which mainly depends on which primer you are using.

Lorac Eye Shadow White Gold

Pros of Lorac Eye Shadow White Gold:

  • A satiny cream shade for everyday and casual wear.
  • Can serve as eyelid/base shade for pastel or natural eye makeup looks.
  • Not shimmery at all; rather satin finish.
  • Finely milled texture with smooth particles.
  • Easy blending.
  • One swipe picks up good quantity due to texture and compaction in pan.
  • No fallout issues.
  • Good pigmentation.
  • Wearing time is fairly good considering a light shade.
  • No smudging or creasing.

Cons of Lorac Eye Shadow White Gold:

  • Contains Parabens.
  • Color needs to be built up on oily and dark eyelids.

IMBB Rating:

4.3/5 (marks deducted for Parabens)

Would I repurchase/recommend Lorac Eye Shadow White Gold?

Yes, definitely a repurchase material for me and recommended to all, especially those who love putting on some eyeshadow everyday. Since, I hauled online crazily last month, I got a sample of Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream too from one of the stores. It is a pure love product and I want to buy a full sized version. Let’s see who got to review this beauty on IMBB. Ciao ladies 🙂 . Stay happy and beautiful.
