L’Oreal 6 Oil Nourish Conditioner Review

L’Oreal 6 Oil Nourish Conditioner Review

Hello beauties,

How have you been doing?

Today, I am back with a hair product, from a much-hyped range – L’Oreal Paris 6 Oil Nourish Nourishing Conditioner.  Sadly for me, by the time Trisha reviewed the shampoo from the same range, I had already placed the order. So I was literally banging my head when I read that the shampoo wasn’t that great as it was meant to be. Anyhow, now that the blunder was done on my part, I waited for the package to arrive with sinking heart and crossed fingers.

As you  already know, I am very sensitive as far as my tresses are concerned, which means I can still forgive a product for not suiting my skin, but if something damages my hair, I am inconsolable and ruthless to the product. I can still fix up a bad face day, but I dread bad hair days, especially as I have not had one since past one year.

I have already told you guys, still I would gladly re-produce the details regarding my type of scalp and hair. I have straight, very silky, waist length hair, normal in texture, with a very oily scalp. Although the oil secretion is much controlled now as compared to my teenage years when I had to wash my hair daily!! Now I can skip a day or two.

The intro and details done, now let’s move on with the review and find out how it fared for me.  Fingers crossed! 😛

Packaging/Price/Product Description:

L’Oreal Paris 6 Oil Nourish Nourishing Conditioner gets straight 5/5 as far as first impressions are concerned. Classy gold and yellow packaging, with the mention of 6 nourishing oils, it can make anyone go gaga and drool over it. It is an upside down packaging, with a flip cap, which is secure enough. So, it is travel friendly.

It comes in two sizes:

65 ml for Rs. 80/-

175 ml for Rs. 150/-

I purchased the 175 ml one. See? When your days are not good, you tend to do things like this. I not only purchased something which was reviewed as a dud, but also in the bigger size. Sigh! Check out the pictures below.

My Experience with L’Oreal 6 Oil Nourish Conditioner:

Man, I am not kidding, but I was scared out of my wits. After the bad review, and my hair’s reluctance to accept new products, this one looked like a poisonous beauty to me. I kept staring at it for 10 full minutes, then Sanjeev sir’s “Jaguar” leaped into me 😛 *hihi* and I decided to give it a shot.

I used this conditioner with the Nourish Oil shampoo.  Trisha was right guys, the shampoo is just average, it won’t harm your hair, but with all the “6 oils” hype, it really is a dud. After shampooing, when I opened the conditioner, the first thing which overwhelmed me, was the smell. I just love those hair products which smell good. This one has a sexy and intoxicating kind of a smell which relaxes you. So far, so good.

The L’Oreal Paris 6 Oil Nourish Nourishing Conditioner is very thick in texture, like those hair glosses or gloss hair packs. It is really thick. You can say it is a thick yellow paste with small shimmers.  Looks really good if you ask me, like you are going to apply something really transforming to your hair.

As this conditioner is meant for scalp and hair both, I squeezed it out and applied a good quantity by massaging it on my scalp, then all the way down to my hair tips, waited for 2 minutes, then rinsed off. The roughness which the shampoo had left was gone, thank God. My hair felt soft, but then, it was too soon to conclude this. A minimal hair fall happened, but that does happen with me when I change my hair products. If the product is good enough and honest to the tall claims, the hair fall normally doesn’t happen after the first two washes.

After my hair had dried, they felt smooth and shiny, plus they smelled great. My hair had a healthy shine and had volume. No stickiness or uncomfortable oily feel existed. I was dancing, literally. I was so skeptical to try this range, plus the shampoo had made my hair feel a bit rough and dry (although I must say it did not do any damage to my scalp as most other shampoos having the same effect do, so, a plus for that), but, the conditioner more than made up for it. My hair felt smooth, shiny and smelled great all day long, even the next day a faint smell was there.

You can see how thick the conditioner is, and the tiny shimmers.

Summing up:

Pros of L’Oreal 6 Oil Nourish Conditioner:

  • Makes hair smooth and soft.
  • Gives a healthy shine.
  • Leaves no sticky residue or uncomfortable feeling.
  • Gives volume to hair.
  • Smells great.
  • Affordable.
  • Easily available.

Cons of L’Oreal 6 Oil Nourish Conditioner:

  • None really, just that a minimum hair fall will happen with the first 1 or 2 times of usage, but with continued usage, it will stop. All the cons are with the shampoo, so you can skip that. This conditioner is a complete winner for me.

IMBB Rating:

L’Oreal Paris 6 Oil Nourish Nourishing Conditioner gets a whopping 4.75/5 from me. Yes, Yes, Yes, I will repurchase and recommend. Skip the shampoo from this range, but grab this beauty and use it with your favourite shampoo, you will not be disappointed.

Hope you all found my review useful and enjoyable. Till the next time, bye and love you all :* :* :*
