I’m so excited today as I’m going to write my first article on IMBB and I sincerely thank IMBB team for publishing this on the blog.
The Masque which I’m going to review is new in the Indian market ( I saw it for the first time while surfing but couldn’t find this product on many popular Indian websites) and when I was looking for some hair masque for my damaged, chemically treated hair on the internet, I found this one.. I’ve tried Absolut Repair Cellular Repairing Masque which was also good… And after that I used Matrix biolage with camellia oil butit worsened the condition of my hair. Then I decided to look for a different and better product. After seeing the product online, I looked for its reviews, unfortunately there were none. Nevertheless I went up to my favourite cosmetic store and asked for the same.
Price: Rs. 675/-for 196 grams (not even complete 200 grams)but I got it for Rs. 650/-
Directions for Use: Apply to shampooed and towel- dried hair. Leave in for 3 to 5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.
My Experience L’Oreal Absolut Repair Lipidium Instant Reconstructing Masque for Damaged Hair:
I LOVE IT!! I had washed my hair using this masque and shampoo from the same range(review coming soon) and I could visible notice the difference with my eyes closed, even on my wet hair.I use it twice a week and it has changed texture of my hair. I feel my hair are softer and frizz-controlled plus I did not notice any hair fall when I used it except a few strands. However, I did not notice much shine in my hair maybe because my hair is too damaged. So, I guess it will take some more time. I applied it on my towel- dried hair and left it for 4-5 minutes and then rinsed it with lukewarm water and then applied my regular hair serum and voila!! I was happy as I could see my hair’s old texture was getting restored. I could feel that my hair is much softer and manageable and there is no volume loss. This product smells floral and I’ve no issues with it as it is not overpowering. After rinsing hair properly, the fragrance lingers for a couple of days but it does not bother me.In fact, when I went to the gym and hugged my bestie; she said that my hair smells niceee 😉 😀
Texture: Texture is like beaten butter, this is best thing I can relate it to lol.. Yup like beaten butter light and somewhat sticky, I guess it is because of beeswax as one of the ingredients.
Let’s sum up its pros and cons:
Pros of L’Oreal Absolut Repair Lipidium Instant Reconstructing Masque:
• True to it claims, makes hair soft, manageable and frizz is lesser.
• Continued usage causes less split ends.
• Smells nice.
• Work as a medicine for intense damaged hair.
• Reduces hair fall to a great extent (however it is not meant for it).
• Does not weigh down the hair.
• Rinses easily unlike other masques which consume so much time to rinse off.
• I like the tub packaging as I can use every bit of it. So, no wastage. 😀
• Easily available.
Cons of L’Oreal Absolut Repair Lipidium Instant Reconstructing Masque:
• Too expensive for the quantity you get.
• Not travel-friendly.
• Does not add any shine.
• Have to dig in my fingers to take the desired quantity out, which sometimes lead to wastage.
Apart from this, I could not think of any other cons.
Will I repurchase L’Oreal Absolut Repair Lipidium Instant Reconstructing Masque?
Hell, Yeah!!! I’m going to buy it again for sure!
4.5/5 (less 0.5 because it’s too expensive for the quantity we get).
Conclusion on L’Oreal Absolut Repair Lipidium Instant Reconstructing Masque:
It’s definitely worth a try. So I do recommend it to everyone who have dry, damaged hair.
