My experience with L’Oreal Color Caresse by Color Riche Lipstick in Rose Taffeta

Rose Taffeta is a everyday pink color with mild silver shimmer and gives a glossy finish to the lips. It’s a natural easy to wear everyday shade. I am in love with the weightless feathery formula of this lipstick. It feels velvety on the lips. There is no tugging or pulling involved while applying rose taffeta. The consistency of this lipstick is extremely smooth; it feels like butter on the lips. It’s very hydrating and feels balm like even for my dry lips. The finish of rose taffeta is creamy and gives a nice glossy look to my lips. It has an impressive pigmentation, I don’t feel the need of layering, and single swipe is enough to give full color payoff. If I talk of staying power, then I don’t have high hopes with this one, mainly due to its silky sheer balm like texture. Still, it stays well on my lips for around 3 hours and then fades evenly. It does not leave any shimmery shiny bits here and there. Rose taffeta does not settle in fine lines and not even accentuates my dry lips.

Fragrance and flavor of these lipsticks is quite mild. I don’t get that peculiar L’Oreal scent from these. Although I love to have some fragrance coming from my lipsticks, but it’s alright I don’t mind that at all for such a pretty lip color.Rose taffeta comes in a luxurious golden color case. The bullet is sturdy and the shape is very convenient for perfect application.I usually fall for light weight, feathery feel super hydrating lipstick and Rose taffeta is just the same. I would highly recommend at least one from his range to all of you.
