Hi pretty Gals!

Hope you all had great Diwali! Mine was really good as I got loads of gifts. Finally my busy hubby planned a surprise gift for me this Diwali. Also, I got two Loreal Lip balms one of which is Heavenly Berry which is already reviewed. Next is Nourishing Nude. Both are natural-looking shades. Read on further to know my experience.

I guess $8.

What the Product claims:

Indulge your lips with L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Lip Balm. The tinted SPF 15 lip balm provides a hint of luscious, kissable color, smoothing lips instantly and for a full eight hours of continuous hydration. Lips are softer and more supple all day long and the balm keeps conditioning even after it’s been removed.

Packaging:

I am impressed by its sophisticated packaging. It comes in a beautiful transparent or sleek rectangular tube-like case, the color of which corresponds with lip balm shade.

My Experience with Nourishing Nude Lipbalm:

When I got them, I was little confused as both the shades look almost the same on the lips. It was a little disappointing for me since I wouldn’t have gone for two of these then. Texture is no doubt smooth, shiny and nourishing and yes in my case they lasted more than 8 hours even after having meals. My lips felt really hydrated and nourished after using them along with the glossy look! As the name suggests, it looks all natural after applying this shade. My lips are pink and this lip balm just makes them glossy, hardly any color change. I usually prefer to club it with a matte lipstick. I totally admire its heavenly smell though which lasts a few hours thankfully!

Since it’s a nude shade hence I took napkin swatch to give you an idea of its actual shade.

Pros of Loreal Color Riche Lip Balm Nourishing Nude:

• Heavenly smell.
• Lasts 8 hours as it claims.
• Really hydrates and nourishes lips.
• SPF 15.
• It is not shimmery but gives fine glossy look to the lips.

Cons of Loreal Color Riche Lip Balm Nourishing Nude:

• Quiet expensive.
• All the shades look alike on the lips.
• Availability in India is an issue still.

Finally, I would say that as a gift I would love any shade or any lip balm but I will never purchase them again.
