L’Oreal Color Riche Lipstick – Copper Brown

L’Oreal Color Riche Lipstick – Copper Brown

The first choice in luxury lipcolor, Colour Riche is deep, luminous color in a weightless, creamy texture. Dewy, botanical formulations moisturize, condition, and last for hours without flaking or splitting.

This is one lipstick I have actually remembered and  have taken out for this festive season.I am not into coppers but I love rusty reds. I have loved rusty browns like always, and this one is something of a mix of copper, gold and rust.Take a look at what makes it so apt for the festive season.

This is one lipstick which is used much with love and the packaging has actually started wearing off.. I thought this is the right season to review a lipstick that is very apt for all rust, copper and gold touch outfits. I am not into copper outfits at all but most traditional wear has some amount of copper to it. This lipstick has a beautiful touch of rusty red, golden glistening finish and a copper look to it.The feel is light and weightless like they claim. Pigmentation could be better. It does not settle, flake or split like claimed and it does moisturize.
The color is not overtly coppery, it is almost rust. The lipstick is not creamy, it is on the sheer side, you will need to swipe it thrice at least, this is something I dislike about many L’oreal lipsticks, they feel too sheer to my liking. This has an oily slick feel to it, like those earlier Lakme lipsticks our mothers used to have, you know what I am talking about. There is no creamy finish but that slick glisten of gold to it.Now this gold thankfully does not have a gaudy feel to it, the shimmer is so fine it only gives a golden sheen to the lipstick making it apt for festive season.
The color is sheer but you can build it up.It will be great for mature women makeup since it adds a touch of drama but not really any obvious cakey layer of lipstick on. Anyway, I love what the color does to me, it is very suitable for evening or day wear with Indian outfits and very suited for warm skin tones. It has a nice finesse to it, the color.

It does transfer and stays barely two hours, but some amount of color and gold sheen is left behind on the lips. I do recommend this color for Diwali outfits, and warm skin tones, though pigmented lips will have a problem with it. It is not a drying lipstick at all.But just too sheer for my liking but I still wear it often for the love of this brand and for the color.
