I went to the Loreal counter to check the new eyeshadows, we did not get them here, you must have seen those in Loreal Cannes looks, but seriously, I had seen them long back in Pune and they had some nice nudes,and some greens too, gotta keep an eye out for those new shadows from Loreal.
Meanwhile I saw the hottest pink lipstick of my life 😛 I have none other than this one, so hot and bright and fuchsia, I mean it can give my whole collection a run for its money 😛 So here we go, swatched the tester, whoa so pigmented, bring it back home routine! First of all, most Loreal lipsticks have done well for me, no doubt they are overpriced, but still nice, the shimmer ones put me off and this one has a ton of silver shimmer but it is so creamy and pigmented that it really blew me away!
The packaging is the nice classy Loreal like always, it has the same floral fragrance like all Loreal lippies, and the nice click lock! The shade is a very intense like it says, bright pink one meant for brown skin tones! The shade unless swatched, the shimmer is not revealed, when you swatch you see oodles of silver shimmer melting in with the creamy lipstick on your lips.This is the moment when you decide whether you like the lipstick or not 😛
Personally the shade got so hot, so pigmented that things went out of control, you need to use very less and you need to outline, it is thick and creamy and might bleed.. it is really one hot bright shade but I think it will do good for most skin tones, if used in the right amount. I personally love the texture but the shimmer….
The silver shimmer stays back after it fades and it twinkles! I wish it came without the shimmer, not saying its bad, the lipsticks lasts you forever, it keeps lips hydrated but it will stick all over the place, your hair, cups, everywhere, try blotting it and it gets to half the shade. No qualms about the texture shade lasting power, but the shimmer that stays back, turn off!
Also it might stain a bit, since it is sooooo intense, not blaming the lipstick I am blaming the shade, it comes with its own “nakhras” So too hot to handle shade for me, top of the line quality, amazing lipstick, when used well!
