Hello everyone….

I had to give my due love to the other baby of mine from L’Oreal because last day I reviewed the toffee from this range which is an absolute favorite. Now this is a plum shade which I do not wear that frequently but winters are best enjoyed with dark lipsticks and hot coffee. Though I do not prefer dark lipsticks and lip liners that much but I had picked this keeping in mind the winters and the few dark shade lipsticks that I have in my stash. This is a true plum shade and has fetched me quite a few compliments this winter.

Packaging:

L’Oreal #634 comes in a wooden pencil form. The body is the same color as that of the liner which is smart considering you have more than one of the same family in your stash. It is a sharpenable pencil with a muted golden cap. The cap does not shut with click but it never loses the cap, hence it is travel friendly.

Texture:

The pencil is wooden and hence does not glide on like creamy pencils. But it does not tug the lips also. For me this is pretty good texture considering it is a lip liner. The semi-hard texture ensures the lipstick/lipgloss does not bleed. The right texture helps to hold the lipstick for longer time on the lips. the sad part is some like to wear lip liners on their own, with this it might not be possible as it will dry out the lips. in the swatch I had to put on a clear lip balm to show the right color of the liner.

My Experience with L’Oreal Contour Parfait #634 Plum

Dark bold colors are a big no no for me. But with the red hype around I got myself some basics and this came as a part of the basic “red” shopping. Though it is not red in particular but it pairs pretty well with the red lipsticks that I own. Mostly I pair it with pink based reds and this works wonderfully well. I have worn it on its own with a swipe of clear lip balm and that is again a pretty shade to carry in the daytime for winters. I have nothing much to add to my personal experience as I am totally hooked on to the idea of lip liners and totally enjoying them. If you are not into lip lining, trust me, you are missing out big time!
