After skin, another body feature that we are absolutely obsessed about is, our hair! But most of you would agree with me that hair requires more upkeep than our skin because more than wrinkles, grey and brittle hair makes one look older and once hair turns grey,it is almost impossible to turn it back to its original state, and that’s why I am so skeptical about what I apply on my hair and I don’t change hair products that often.  This is one of the hairstyling product that I have recently purchased. My Take on L’Oreal Elnett Satin Extra Strong Hold Hair Spray:

Even though I take good care of my hair and use all natural hair care products, I just can’t leave my hair fallow after a hair wash; it does need some hair styling or it would be all over the place and the only option I have is to tie it up which kills the purpose of long hair. I bought this product for hair styling, to tame fly a-ways, and to a bit more complicated hair dos in place.

Packaging:  This hair spray comes in the usual pressurized metal can, in gold color with a plastic nozzle to dispense the product. It is long and slender and a bit too long to comfortably carry in a travelling bag.

Fragrance:  It has a very artificial chemical smell which is a bit too strong because it is rife with alcohol, however; the smell vanishes in a matter of few seconds and is not an issue.

Application:  After any hair do, just spray this product from a distance of 12 inches and make sure that it does not land on your face or exposed skin. One can spray it on the hair brush and then brush it through hair to avoid frizzy hair. I also use it to tame fly a-ways by spraying it on an old tooth brush and running through “not so manageable” hair to calm them down.

It does have a very strong hold indeed. It holds my hair and hairdos in place and keeps frizz at bay. It does not make my hair feel coarse or unnatural yet still keeps them in place. Also, after every usage, one need not wash their hair, it can be dissipated by running a hair brush through hair and hair is back to normal again, all ready for a new hairdo.

I like this product because it did most of what it had claimed and didn’t ruin my hair (I have been using it for months now).

Yes, and may be try to use it with other hair care products from this range. I recommend it to all those who are troubled by their brittle, coarse hair and are scared to wear elegant hairdos because of frizzy hair and fly aways.
