My Experience with L’Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Hair Mask:

I have been using the extraordinaryoil shampoo for quite some time now and reaped benefits from the same. When I came across the mask, I knew I had to pick it up!

The mask comes in a dark yellow-golden plastic pot with a dark brown cap similar to the shampoo and conditioner from the same range. The screw cap has a lock system and thus travel friendly. The product comes with no seal and this is a bummer as I have seen people testing the product. As it is a tub you never know what hands went in them. I had to open check and then buy the product. The product is golden yellow and has gold shimmery particles in it. The mask is thick, creamy and the smell is wonderful.

The mask is more of a conditioner as you can use it 2-3 times in a week and you have to leave it on hair for 2-3 minutes. So it is easy to do the same in the shower. However, I have tried this as an intense nourishment mask leaving it for 30 minutes and then rinsing it off. The conditioner is easy to apply, I use my fingers to spread the mask and spread it along with a wide toothed comb; wash it off after 30mins. The product rinses off well, you feel a little weighed down when you are washing but that feeling goes away after the hair dries.

But you really need to wash and massage your scalp well to get rid of those shiny particles. I do not know the reason why it was put in but I am not a fan of it. After towel drying my hair, I saw some instant miracles. I have lifeless dull ends and this product worked as a magic. My hair was tangle free and I could run my fingers along without getting stuck. The hair felt very smooth and soft and after combing, there was no frizz! I really loved what it did to my hair plus my hair smelt wonderful.

The only downside to the product is being an oil mask, it leaves oily residue behind. My hair looked oily the very next day and my scalp being oily, the third day it looked like my hair was soaked in oil, so I would use this only for the days when I stay at home!

So summing up,

Pros of L’Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Hair Mask:

• Makes hair soft and smooth.
• No tangles after drying.
• Frizz free for a day.
• Gives shine to the hair.
• Makes hair look healthy and manageable.

Cons of L’Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Hair Mask:
