Today, I am going to review an eye shadow from the famous “L’Oreal Infallible” collection. This is one of the eye shadows that works as well as many high-end eye shadows. Texture, staying power and price – everything is amazing. Let us get started.

It comes in a sturdy jar where we can see the shade of the eye shadow easily. Packaging is good for an mono eye shadow.

My take on this L’Oreal Glistening Garnet Infallible Eyeshadow:

It is a berry color with a light pink undertone. It gives us a satin finish. The shadow can be used both as dry and wet. When used dry, it gives more like a berry or burgundy color and it is not opaque. But when used wet, the color payoff is more towards pink side. It is very opaque and it gives a perfect satin finish. I suggest to use it wet if we want that intense look.

Texture-wise it is very soft and smooth. It is loose powder-type but it is packed solid in the jar. It gives perfect color with just one swipe. We can build up if we need deep berry color. It can be blended very easily. There is minimum fallout that is common to many shadows. Next important thing is the staying power. L’Oreal promises that it stays up to 24hours. I haven’t used up to 24hrs but it stays very well for 8hrs with and without a primer! The eye shadow did not crease but I noticed a little color fading in the corner. Primer is a must if we are out for a long day.

This shade is really amazing and it is worth the price. We can very well pick this eye shadow instead of many high-end brands. We can combine this shade with many dark and light shades to create smokey and daytime looks.

Overall, I am in love with is eye shadow. I am using this shade everyday and creating many looks with this.
