My Experience with L’Oreal Hair Spa Detoxifying Shampoo:

All the L’Oreal spa range shampoos come in a long cylindrical minty blue plastic bottle with a silvery fliptop cap. The nozzle dispenses out perfect amount of product and it never messes around the cap. Though the bottle is leakage proof, it comes in only 200 ml size, so not travel friendly because of the bulky size.

The shampoo has a totally colorless gel like texture which is not too runny. It has a very fresh pleasant smell which also stays long on my hair and keeps hair odor free. Only a small amount of the shampoo is enough for my entire hair to create nice lather. It glides on my hair so smoothly and it lathers perfectly. It feels light and fresh on hair and never irritates my scalp. Also it is so easy to rinse off.

I have pretty oily scalp and in summers, and my hair feels super oily and looks gross. So I need a fresh shampoo to keep my scalp oil free. This shampoo does this job perfectly like its claim. It can clean all the oil and dirt from the roots of my hair and makes it feel clean. It also cleans up my oiled hair nicely with just two washes. My hair feels soft and smooth after using it. It is actually a hydrating shampoo. I never feel any dryness after washing my hair.

I have naturally smooth and silky hair and it suits me quite amazingly. It provides a hugely noticeable shine to my hair. It keeps hair soft and smooth for long. If I skip my conditioner, my hair still looks so well. I have really dry hair ends but after this shampoo helps to repair them. It never makes my hair look dull or frizzy.

Usually my hair looks limp after few hours of washing during summer but this shampoo never weighs down my hair. I love the volume it provides. It actually keeps my hair bouncy. I don’t have frizzy hair; only the baby hair looks frizzy at the end of the day. But it also works so well to keep my hair manageable for long. It also keeps hair tangle free. I don’t have dandruff, so can’t comment on it. Also, I haven’t notice any hair fall after using this.

Overall, this is a nice shampoo for oily, limp, dull hair. It makes hair soft with a nice shine. I actually love the way it cleans hair deeply because I can feel that freshness in my hair. So as a spa detoxifying shampoo, it really does its job perfectly and all the claims are true. But if you have really frizzy, damaged hair, you will need a little more moisturizing shampoo or use the conditioner too.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend L’Oreal Hair Spa Detoxifying Shampoo?
Yes for both as I have no complaints. I will recommend this shampoo for all but as I have quite nice hair, so not 100% sure how it will work on superdry, damaged hair. But it is really a nice one.
