Spotted this new L’Oreal skincare at the stands and I knew I had to get it. Not only the packaging was super cute but the claims were also great. It is all about “water” everywhere; miracle water, genius water, micellar water and no doubt I am super intrigued. Read on to know more on the Genius water by L’Oreal.

My Experience with L’Oreal Hydrafresh Genius Multi-Active Genius Water:
The packaging screams summer with the mint green ombre translucent plastic bottle which comes with a shiny cap. All details are mentioned on the bottle and also on the outer cardboard paper carton. I would have preferred flip top cap as it comes handy and dispense the right amount of the product but it does not bother me much considering the texture.
The texture is like water but not so runny. It pours out slowly in single drops, just like the consistency of syrup. I prefer applying it directly and not on cotton pad as it leads to wastage of the product. Hardly 2-3 drops are required for the full face but when applied on the cotton pad, it tends to absorb quite a bit of the lotion. As it is super precious to me, I am not ready to lose even a drop of it.
Coming to the effectiveness of the product, it is a lovely, non sticky, refreshing lotion to apply on the face. It instantly boosts hydration and gives a healthy glow. It can be applied both day and night but I prefer it during the day as it has this wake-me-up property. The skin feels hydrated and not at all oily which is great for my skin type, especially during this season.
This is a great one-step product for skincare and hence is great to travel with. Sadly, this is not yet available in India, but hope to see it soon as it has become a staple in my skincare and I have no back-up.
